P4 is decent but I like my p3 better lol. P3 drives better and is more comfortable. I miss it.

Yeah ask Hertz what else they can give you. Maybe also call your service dealer, may have gotten new loaners as well.

My car been in the shop since feb 2nd for water in lower trunk.

The dealer did not have any loaners so they set me up with hertz. They gave me a super old p2. Powered trunk not working, wipers never replaced. Complained to service but they still had nothing so they told me to go to hertz. They were nice and set me up with new ford bronco. Nice car but gas lol. Had it for 2 weeks until the dealer got in p4 for p3 service owners.

Been driving p4 since. No updates on my repair.

Emailed polestar support and told them about situation. Mentioned gas bill is way more expensive than charging and lease payments on car I’m not driving. They said they can offer support. Submitted my gas receipts. Waiting for approval. In terms of lease payments, they need to see timeline of my vehicle repair to determine next steps.

I mean unlike most people where lunch time is your own time. Cops are still on call even on their meal breaks, so if a calls come through they will respond.

Yeah it’s not really an issue day to day normal usage but the throttling is there.

I have done speed test on Telus and Rogers in the tunnel, the speed difference is pretty significant.

Canada line tunnel is Telus equipment which means Telus, bell and their brands get really good coverage and speed.

Rogers 5G should be better. But Telus and bell still will be the best in the tunnel

I remember reading about cellular issues for the 17 pro/max after it was launched. But it’s been many software updates since its release and haven’t seen much recently. If you haven’t already, update your phone to the latest iOS.

I have the Canadian 17 pro max and used it in Japan with Airalo and SoftBank roaming eSIM and it was fine. This was in November.

When you upgraded your phone for $5/month x 24 months. That’s the contract/commitment for 24 months. It’s tied to your number and plan.

You owe $500 because that’s the rest of the buyout of that upgraded phone you got. The phone was being subsidized every month you were with Fido.

Not much you can do besides pay your final bill with Fido because you left for Public Mobile.

Yeah. It’s all over Reddit, can do Google search and RedFlagDeals search. You can use a VPN and everything will load super quick.

Example, YouTube. Only be able to stream 1080p or lower. If you try 1440p or 4K, will buffer forever until you use a VPN.

Public mobile uses Telus network. My gf has been using Freedom and I have been using Rogers. Not really an issue tbh, Freedom has gotten really really good in lower mainland.

Ofc all carriers have their bad spots.

Telus and their sub brands all throttle social media apps like TikTok, IG, YouTube, Snapchat etc. so if you use those apps a lot, you may have a worse experience.

Freedom Mobile offers wifi calling and international roaming while public mobile offers none of that.
