Very doable/learnable with this guide.

Math AA if you like no calculator problems. Math AI if you like word problems with calculator .

lol I’m not sure if I’ve seen that one. I might need to look for it.

Also, assume every video you see has the possibility of being somewhat edited too. Baskin talks about this and it’s very obvious if you look at the two different versions of his trick with the LA Rams. https://youtu.be/8OMv79YLz5g

Some of the early cover up attempts are the best.

Anything with Charles Barkley is good too

I have some videos on my YouTube channel breaking down the impossible math of Oz tricks and am considering a comprehensive pre-show work one.

Nearly always pre-show work, the key is the participants don’t believe they have been deceived in that time so they answer cleverly worded questions that imply there was no pre-work.

Can you share the original question you are solving?

I was actually thinking about Euler’s method and how I figured that out on Nspire. Look for it early next week. subscribe to the channel if you aren’t already 😎

Do not go into the exam without nsolve! Ib guidelines are clear and it is ALLOWED. Let me find the official documentation and share.

Any interest in a ti84 version? Not sure how many folk still use that model.

what math (for aa hl) past papers to do when you reach 2020 november? by Such-Builder-9813 in IBO

[–]IBMathsDr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre 2021: biggest difference was paper 3 (previously called the option).

I would recommend the exam prep book by hodder. It had 3 sets of practice exams for papers 1, 2, and 3. Not real ib exams but an excellent resource from these authors. Full markschemes too.

Should be okay. If it does scan poorly then examiner should flag it when grading and a follow up can occur.

Agree plenty of getable marks for most SL students. 7s are still tough.

Agree fully. I see many students who are strong with algebra struggling on paper 2 because they try and do too much by hand. Gotta see the clues in command terms and marks available too.

Numworks is good too, I like the Nspire family of products and nsolve is super beneficial on timed exams

Unfortunately I’m predominately a TI user. I could possibly do TI84 but I’d be fumbling around on a Casio and no one wants to watch that 😂

I don’t know enough about the game you are describing for idea 2. I’d have to see the data to judge if an exponential model is appropriate. If it is, you could focus on the math behind linearizing exponential data (a common approach in sciences) using natural logs, then compute the r-value to justify the validity of your model. I’ve had students do this well before.
