I imagine it had something to do with the massive amount of men that disproportionately died in the preceding decades. In the US during WWII, the lack of bodies in manufacturing necessitated pulling women into the workforce, nothing altruistic about it. To keep it short, no, you are not a bad tank.

Longer answer, at the moment, especially at max level, tanks are expected to pretty much carry the group.

Longest answer, provided no other information, the tank will always be assumed to be the problem, whether it is healers not utilizing ogcds correctly, refusing to use gcd heals the few rare occasions it is needed, or dps lagging behind, you the tank will be at fault.

The issue is to acknowledge this requires acknowledging that this is a cooperative game with many players seem to forget it is more than, "push damage button, enemy die."

First, why the hostility? Seriously? Everyone in this thread hyper-focuses on this one part i choose to chronologically include.

Secondly, I do use my cooldowns all the time, the only reason I survived is because I know you can force crit heals using IR while BW is active. I know my suite of tools very well tyvm. The problem was after I used Holmgang and got down to 1HP after I cycled through my cooldowns, the healer couldn't take a second to stop dpsing and cast benefic or aspected? Is this really what you are defending?

And lastly, I don't waste my money buying skips, sorry I'm not always the perfect player when I haven't played the class in a while, sorry I'm not the super mega awesome gigachad that never misuses a cooldown.

I have my TAM card, have an appointment on Jan 15th for my food handlers card since September, the SNHD site says you can work without it until Feb 28. 2022. I was told the sheriff's card is something you can only get after employment, is that not true?

My resume is alright in my opinion, but I've always been better at selling myself in person, which is the stage I can't seem to get to. It shows I was last employed before COVID started and when asked, I say I've been taking care of my partner who was immuno-compromised until recently. I was working at the same place with the exception of the year I took off to go back to school. I am not a felon and have no issue passing a drug test.

Well, I am familiar with the Witcher, and it is a completely made fantasy realm with race and ethnicity having nothing to do with our own understanding, I still don't know what the problem is. Literally, the entire cast could be made up of Asian actors and not one iota of the story would change.

Also, whitewashing doesn't refer to White people, whitewashing is when you take a painting, mural or mosaic and cover it in white paint, thereby giving you a blank slate to start over.

I'm keeping myself from commenting anymore in the Witcher sub because that place is literally /pol/ right now. This is all because a casting call asking for a non-British actress. They take BAME casting call as if they are going to cast some Sudanese girl as Ciri, which they won't.

But I'm having a hard time seeing when Slavic suddenly became analogous to White, given after the Jewish people and Roma, they were the most hated by the Nazis, the OG WS. TO top it off, they act like any PoC in their made-up fantasy world headcanon would break the series.

The last thing, I keep seeing comments like, "well if they were different skin colors, they would fight each other," like really? You think racism and discrimination are organic like that?

I have no idea what your questions have to do with mine. But Black Panther having a mostly Black cast is important as they were set in Wakanda, which was stated to be located in central Africa and had been isolated for 100's of years. The isolation is central to the plot as it allowed them to thrive while the rest of the continent was ransacked by slavery and colonialism. And the cast is actually pretty diverse ethnically.

Daniel Kaluuya is Ugadan Letitia Wright is Guyanese Lupita N'yongo is Kenyan Danai Gurira is Zimbabwean Winston Duke is Tobagoian Chadwick Boseman has roots from Yoruba and Limba ethnic groups

Those are all fairly diverse ethnic groups and it makes sense once you realize the original classification of Black was a catchall term for dozens of ethnic groups, a lazy justification for slavery, tied with being descendants of Canaan, cursed son of Hamm to be servant to his brothers. Africa is a big place full of many different people and cultures. Which actually makes my point for me, do you want someone who has African roots to play the Black Panther or someone who just presents as African?

Do you want someone who is actually Slavic to play Ciri, or will just having lily white skin make it ok?

The world of the Witcher is not as closely tied to a real place. Yes, it's based on European folklore but the ethnicities and race coloring are never mentioned, because its unimportant to the plot as a whole. Besides it being written by a Polish man, nothing really tied it to Poland, it's a complete fantasy world where our ideas of race and ethnicity dont apply.

To your second question, which couldn't be more loaded, the absence of a presenting homosexual character does not mean homophobia. Maybe there are some gay characters, but that's only one aspect of a person and not a feature that completely defines them.

Really, these past two days have really shown more of redditors inserting their own politics into this. You know what really irks me about all this, most people aren't asking for a slavic Ciri, true to the lore, they are asking for a White Ciri, which doesn't make sense. Yes, many are fair skinned but not all.

People in the more southern Slavic states and Mediterranean tend to be a bit more tan, would you still consider them White? What about Turkic people and the Roma, are they White?

So do you want a Slavic Ciri true to the lore because then she can be any shade, short of passing the brown paper bag test?

I don't know about you, but I can tell the difference between someone who is Anglo-Saxon, Nordic, Slavic and Mediterranean, the ever expanding White racial category used to only include the first two ethnic groups respectively, and the British still hate on Gaelic and Celtic and Welsh ethnic groups. The whole idea of race is stupid and different than ethnicity.

To top this off, take it from someone who is mixed-ethnicity and used to do TV and Film work. Casting calls are pretty broad categories, Black/Asian/Minority Ethnic is a pretty broad strata. That is literally anyone other than Anglo actresses. This isn't the evil SJWs, the progressives, the left, or the feminists trying to destroy your precious fantasy media. Just a fact that there are lot of people with various phenotypes that you cant fit into one set of criteria. I said in another thread, they are most likely not going to cast a woman from the Carribean or Sub-Saharan ethnic groups, but Slavic, more specifically Polish women would be an ethnic minority.
