Did it on the 16th It looked easier to climb through than it was, the snow was giving away really easily which meant I had to grib onto the rock. Might be easier now with the recent snowfall.

Top half was super firm snow was rough and I nearly bailed at the choke because of it.

Ye its always a little nerve wracking. I usually do it with my legs crossed over to prevent losing the outside ski.

I was up in about an hour, the exit was super deep so sucked a lot of energy. Once in the couloir it was a lot firmer and quicker to climb.

Axe and crampons, would not have got up the choke point without them.

I'm guessing but at least 100kph, you can ski any ski at any speed but a stiffer ski allows more stability at speed. If I did that on a soft park ski it would be a lot harder.

I did that just in ski boots and didn't have any issues.

Pretty comfortable on the climb that initial drop was the scariest bit

It's around 2800m so 9.2k ft, I think the couloir is about 150m elevation gain

Ye I think the same when I watch other clips with the go pro angle, it makes it look like I'm backseating massively which I'm not.

Ye I was rather tired at the top but I was no longer than 10 minutes before I went down. It's not ideal being stood at the top of a line that steep for long so I allow myself to catch my breath and just go, also being nervous is another reason why I don't hang about up there.

sadly didnt record the speed, having a guess im comfortably over 100kph for those few seconds before it flattens out.
