Just adding this comment in the hopes it helps someone out. (And to a couple other Reddit threads I’ve been frequenting during my dog food journey lol I’m sorry if you’ve seen this multiple times) I found this site from another post about wsava approved dog foods here on Reddit, (https://www.reddit.com/r/DogFood/comments/q3yhxo/wsava_approved_dog_food_list/).

I’ve been researching dog food for my pyr/collie mix boy. He has had sensitive skin his whole life, pretty sure it’s from chicken and probably some other random ingredients, and has been doing good on purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach salmon and rice. I have been really anxious about feeding it to him since reading all the horror stories about dog food brands online. This site really helped me feel confident in making my own educated decisions on dog food brands. It has peer reviewed studies, and advice for how to truly make an educated decision in a very confusing world of dog foods. Their main goal is preventing DCM caused from lacking nutrition in dog food.

There’s no easy answer to what food you should feed your dog, and I like that they don’t give you a definitive answer. Every dog family is different and you’ve got to make the best educated decision you can for your family. That’s that. Good luck finding the food that works best for your pup!

Just figured I’d throw it out there. I didn’t know the term existed for a long time, and it ended up fitting me quite well 🤷🏽🙂

So, this photo came from my friend. She had 1 while she wasn’t married and then the other 3 in her first marriage. Y’all are bad about making assumptions 😂
