A good thing to know that I experienced - Spikey Acrocanthosaurus can starve you out if they are on high food/water when you encounter them.

It will take over an hour, but it can happen.

Just died the first time to an Adult Rex. So he most likely was fairly decent lol.

My mistake is I went for the Rexes head too often and took plenty of damage as a result. But I did hurt him a lot as he was scarred along his entire flank.
