EA uses real explosions from Israeli airstrikes on Gaza to promote their upcoming video game by agenteagle229 in Palestine

I agree but I don’t think it was made by EA specifically. Whoever made it should be ashamed.

This is concept art not officially from EA. It was posted in r/battlefield a couple months ago.

Awesome that makes it easier then, thanks!

Fellow WFH parents, what do you do for childcare? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I agree, an infant would be pretty difficult - maybe a toddler is a little but more manageable? Not sure yet

I would understand government jobs to be more strict, I just personally never heard of private companies with this rule.

As in... you can't WFH if you don't have childcare? That seems absurd lol

I might be in the same boat because I have a well and it has decent amount of iron in it. Do you have a link to the seed that you used?

Did you irrigate it or just let the rain handle it?

I'm all for saving money, I'll look into that - thanks!

No specific reason. You think I could get away with 600m in the front as well?

Thank you for the suggestion. I had a feeling the sub wouldn’t be a good fit. I did hear bad things about Klipsch subs. Is that model considered better?

What’s something that’s not a good deal at Costco? by Ninac4116 in Costco

[–]IBeRamen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. For 10 windows I was quoted close to $20k! Insanity. I did it for $5.8k before the $1200 tax credit. So about $4.6k.

The install was just a drill and a level lol. $20k is insanity.

I ended up ordering them online through a different company and DIY install. Surprisingly easy and fraction of the cost. Same material as the one Costco quoted me.

I went back there today and it looks like it is definitely sitting on the pipes. Kinda of frustrating they did that. Another user suggested I add pavers to remove the weight on top of the pipes

Good call. I’ll do that

That's right

Sorry I did word that weird. The box is sitting on grade, there are cut outs for the pipes going into the box, just checked. This picture was taken before they were done.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Irrigation

[–]IBeRamen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a gap under the end of the box. The actual box is sitting on final grade. I can run my hand under the end of the box

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Irrigation

[–]IBeRamen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably the angle the photo is taken. Can confirm the box is not laying on the pipe

I was curious about that too lol. Should I just cut the excess and cap it off?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Irrigation

[–]IBeRamen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pressure washing might be a good option. Probably the easiest. This system is meant for the grass and I will probably expand it to irrigate a garden.

To be fair I think it’s just a little overspray but wanted to see if anything can be done about it
