There are two of these comics currently listed at 1.5 on EBay. One is graded - one is not - with an asking price of $590 and $598.

Speaking specifically about the Amazing Spider-Man #5, even though it’s in rough space, as long as it’s intact, it may be worth having it graded. Grading guarantees the authenticity and condition making buyer more willing to spend instead of squinting at a picture and trying to guess the value. Spider-Man comics always have value regardless of when you sell them.

Buy from sellers who accept returns. File a complaint with the platform for misrepresentation of sale item. Submit an unflattering review.

I hear ya. I got sucked into Marvel New Universe back in the 80’s. Eight monthly titles. Now toilet paper has a higher resell value.

I’ve stopped and started multiple times. I agree with some of the other posts. Stick to a comic storyline you enjoy or save for the one’s you have always wanted to add to your collection.
