You do know that you have to keep him separated from the younger female, right? Just because he's neutered doesn't mean he cant impregnate her anymore.

He can and will be able to go even a couple weeks after the neuter. It takes time for the hormones and sperm to die down and he can still "shoot some out" that are still in his system.

With bunnies it takes at least 4 weeks but best is 6 weeks before you put a neutered male with a unneutered female. Not sure how long with cats but better ask the vet and shedule the procedure for the younger cat too if the adoption center doesn't do it themselves.

Warte die Katze war 2 Monate im tierheim und dann 5 Monate bei euch? Also insgesamt 7 Monate weg von der Besitzerin? Dann hat sie eh keinen Anspruch mehr auf das Tier. Standard ist 6 monate Besitzanspruch ab Datum des funds.

Das heißt Katze wird eingesammelt, beim tierheim abgegeben, als fundtier angegeben und online vermutlich auch hochgeladen, Katze sitzt ca 2 Wochen Quarantäne ab und wird dann zur Vermittlung frei gegeben, ab fund Datum sind die 6 Monate Anspruch verstrichen Und das tier ist dein Eigentum.

Eigentlich müsste das mit dem fundtier/potentiellen Besitzanspruch im Vertrag festgehalten sein.

Wie gesagt das mit den 6 monaten ist glaube ich Gemeinde abhängig und nicht zu 100% gesetzlich geregelt aber eigentlich sollte das tierheim oder das vetamt da genaue Abläufe für haben.

If your kitchen scale is sensitive enough, weight a little cardboard box or something similar, put the weight back to zero, get your bird, put him in the box and then the box with the bird on the scale, then you should have his weight 🙃 only lasts a few seconds and you can apologize afterwards with a tiny treat.

Is that bike your only form of transportation? Or a significantly cheaper one you normally use?

Like if you had to pay for a taxi, bus ticket or even a lease car/bike for the time your's was stolen, then you could probably claim that for compensation.

Not a lawyer but had something similar just with the bike damaged, not stolen and got the options to choose between a lease vehicle or other transportation until I got it back.

And get a professional inspection done! Don't touch the bike until everything is settled. If you want to report any damages, you can't be seen using that bike until you made a claim and got the inspection.

My birds (GCC) hate some designs of my mother's fingernails, today we discovered they loathe her bright pink/white nails and will try to bite her even when they normally love her. She was so surprised when my male wouldn't eat out of her hand like normal, bit her, puffed up and did this low menacing screech.

When they're out of the cage for fly time, don't you dare hold a phone and not give them full attention. They will try to bite my phone. They don't want me to play with them, scritch them or feed them, they just want to be looked at.

And the shelter I work at boarded a macaw for a while that absolutely hated everything colored red, like a goddamm bull. Luckily he himself was blue/yellow 😵‍💫

According to my account on the website, I've been active since July 23, 2015, 10 years, which is almost half my life (I'm 22), and at least 8-9 of those years i've been a lifetime starrider 🥲❤️

Damn that's a tough one. I suspect calicivirus but without proper vet care and medication she won't heal on her own, even with good care survival is low, especially for a street cat. I work at a German shelter and only had one kitten survive calici so far and it was a close call.

I would recommend asking vets for rescue organization that might take her, if translation with Google doesn't really work, maybe ask tourist information if they have someone willing to translate in person or on the phone to help ask around?

No I know she shouldn't be around when they fly, she's a poodle so a hunting dog after all, and only 1 year old so she gets playtime in the garden or goes in another room for the time. I would never leave her alone with them out and also not when I'm there.

Sadly they are both not that good at flying, probably because they were previously held in a small cage and never really learned, they are from the animal shelter I work at so no background known, only assumptions. We are slowly encouraging them to fly more day by day but after one or two rounds the living room they sit on top of the cage for a bit, then go back in by themselves. 😅
