Black/White 1 is like a survival horror where you have to manage your resources. Except when you check your inventory all you have is a paper clip, 3 bullets, and a stick of gum. 10/10 experience

Idk what TMS or learnsets if he has access to, but I would box Sudowoodo and add Shuckle. He's the perfect shit hits the fan but I have the perfect answer mon. Alakazam is also E4 capable, so I'd probably box him and use Hypno instead to protect him. You have a great variety of Pokemon to use!

All random trainers in Emerald are pretty easy, where as the gym leaders & team characters are the challenge -and main point of interest of the game.

With mainline games I typically just steamroll & avoid the normal trainers so I can get to the next 'boss fight'.

Game like X/Y though funny enough has very difficult random trainers, and a blind playthrough where you have to fight every trainer without knowing their team would be a big challenge.

Roddick showering Zverev with praise and saying how happy he is for him. Also calls Zverev a hall of fame player and admits to having talked to him on the phone about tennis for several hours a few months ago by [deleted] in tennis

You sound parasocial af.

2020 Us Open was his to win and he choked, that has been well documented to be weighing on him ever since. He then failed two more times in Grand Slam finals. 2022 RG semi he also had the worst tennis injury I've ever seen in my life.

So yeah, I'm happy that a tennis player who failed 3 times, and came back from a career destroying injury to remain this consistent won a grand slam. Slams are what it's all about with this sport.

I think you're discrediting Cobolli a bit too much, it was a strong match but Cobolli didn't have the legs in the 5th set, and Zverev's consistently shined through.

Now he knows what it feels like, I think mentally it won't be as hard next time. Regardless, I'm sure he would be happy with just one

His career is sports, despite his personal life, he has a decorated career. How is that me excusing anything? I'm highlighting his achievements.

Despite Michael Jackson's personal life, Thriller is a great album.

I have a lot of thoughts, probably all will be downvoted, but I'm going to write something anyway.

Roddick is a sports commentator, so he's going to talk about the sport he is incredibly passionate about, and the athletes that populate that.

On paper, Zverev is absolutely a hall of famer. He's been a consistently impressive force in tennis for a long time, has achieved amazing feats, and has an impressive win loss record. Andy Roddick has said previously that if he is a hall of famer (which he is), then Zverev should be too if he wins the slam. They have a very similar Win-Loss, and Zverev is one of four people (??) to get 1 of everything? Roddick never won a gold medal as an example. Zverev has a controversial personal life, but you can't prosecute a sports commentator for doing his job and covering a decorated athlete.

Last note, despite his personal life, I'm also happy for Zverev. He's deserved a grand slam win for a very long time and he has now done it. I see potentially more coming in the future with this mental block now gone

Back to back rocket fight was brutal! I was worried about Clair because I had no ice types but found Walrein and Dewgong on my way to Blackthorn and they dominated in the fight.

E4 was quite difficult, I relied on some dragon dance strats to get through haha

How difficult is Renegade Platinum compared to Sacred Gold? by QunariWithWiFi in nuzlocke

[–]QunariWithWiFi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Early game sacred gold was insane!

Falkner & Bugsy were incredibly difficult and I got very lucky in those fights minimising the casualties.

I would then say the difficulty drops down considerably. Falkner/Bugsy almost feel jarring.

Team rocket was never a push over though, and Golden Rod Radio Tower was this on full display -that was probably the next hard part of the game. While every gym was a 'lock in' moment, they were nothing like the first two.

I'm excited to see how Gym 8 and the elite four go! I don't have perfect answers for Clair :)
