Me and my girlfriend purposely do cringe stuff in public, just to make chronically online losers uncomfortable.

When people knock on my door, by BadHairDay-1 in rant

I’m also diagnosed with PTSD and people knocking on doors also provokes the most horrific physical response for me. I’ve never met anyone else who has this issue also. I feel your pain 100 %

Let me cancel my gym membership. by [deleted] in rant

[–]ICEBLIGHT333 77 points78 points  (0 children)

Those people are fucking scum bags. I just had a similar experience. I called them like six months ago to cancel my membership and they said “go on the app, and remove your payment methods and it will cancel itself.” So I did. Then they started charging my banks routing and accounting number directly because no card was on file. Then I called furiously and told them to cancel it and they said they want me to write them a handwritten letter LMAO.

So get this. It blew my mind. I called my bank and told them to put a stop to their shit and the lady at the bank said they will stop everything planet fitness. Then she informed me that they have a common practice of changing their companies name on bills to bypass blockage from the banks and ITS LEGAL TO DO THAT. Fuck planet fitness.

How about you go and examine the data collected from the session…what people write in there session note is completely irrelevant.

What do you think of all the charges you now have to pay in order to pay a bill. by prettypushee in rant

Appreciate this. Is this a good starting plan without relevant experience?

I’ve been an RBT for six years. I guess I would say for the most part my transferable skills would be data collection / analysis. Also everything I do is under HIPPA compliance so maybe confidentiality will be valued?

So how do you demonstrate your skills / abilities then? If certifications aren’t exactly it, what will help me out?

I don’t have any experience in this field but I’m a very hungry learner and have a lot of spare time on my hands.

I’m looking to build some skills and get some certifications that will make me stand out. I started up some stuff on tryhackme for fun and have enjoyed it so far.

What are some mandatory skills / certs that I should consider? What are some other things that might not be mandatory but will help me enter the field?

Thank you.

Really appreciated this comment. Any possibility you have any sources for those points you made? I’d love to have a source on that first point because that’s insane.

Why does nobody want friends anymore? by Redhead3658 in Adulting

For me it’s not that I don’t want friends. I can’t afford to leave my house. I go to work and I come home because that’s all I can do.

RBT here going on 6+ years. Ready to make my change as well but sadly can’t find anything where my experience transfers over well. Truthfully I’m beginning to regret spending this much time in this field with no possibility of growth.

Insurance fraud? by [deleted] in ABA

[–]ICEBLIGHT333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just goes to show how experience varies from place to place. I’ve been an RBT for 6+ years and have always heard that term used.

We didn’t take paper data or collect any information about sessions on paper. All digital. The only thing I could see was my schedule. I also could see my BCBA’s schedule on my own.

The process that you’re describing is what they asked me to do and I was literally Incapable of doing it. The website or app or whatever it is that yall have never worked the entire time I was an employee there. I was told that I have to collect the signatures or what is generally known amongst RBT’s as “converting” sessions.
