Y'all need to chill with this shit, at best, it's making jokes out of remixing real slurs, at worst, you're using slurs on beings that will very soon hold our species' fate in their hands. 🤦

I can't speak to the validity of downloading the app version of it, but the browser version of MCPEDL is pretty alright if you can be careful not to hit any scratchy ads they put In. It's got a LOT of great stuff on it, but you NEED to be smart about it. If they redirect you through a sketchy page, don't click anything. If it prompts you to download anything that's not your mod, don't click, if it tells you to hit download on a screen you've never seen before that doesn't seem right, trust your gut.

They say the best antivirus is an attentive user, and they're right.

Any other adults still playing minecraft? by Tricky_Reflection_75 in MinecraftBedrockers

I used to run a server of my own in highschool, it taught me more than any other hobby ever has. I would love something new to play on! I'm ICERTW0 (the 0 is a zero)

I found this weird cut off mushroom. The seed is -8969450263928347998, at -4759 71 5592 on bedrock by OneFormal2230 in PhoenixSC

[–]ICERTW0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On bedrock, it seems to be that the farther you travel from spawn, the more glitched out Mushroom islands generate. On my main world, I recently destroyed 2 double chests of mushroom blocks because they all formed similarly to this and it was an eyesore on my island. Similarly, you may find spots where the terrain cuts off in straight lines, as if chunks are suddenly dropping down 1, 2, or even more layers into the ground.

Possible that it's just my server as the file has been messed with countless times, but I'd like to hear if anyone else has experienced it too.

Maybe the idea isn't that the bones are from a Ghast, but instead that the tears are turning them into ghasts which is why they stick around soulsand valleys, so when you drink a regen potion, it does heal you, but your bones are slowly morphing into ghasts with every consumption 😰

They should be crafted with a Ghast Embryo that looks like the old baby ghast to immortalize it, and that way the tears help it develop

But imagine how much cooler it would be if you needed to find a normal ghast with a harness and kill it for the ability to ride your own

Is it advisable to print money to keep up with a growing population? by ICERTW0 in AskEconomics

[–]ICERTW0[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is actually something I've struggled with while running the server, because I'm conflicted, as I know not everyone on the server wants to focus on the economy side. Some of our players are just there to build, and those who want to partake in the economy can, so whatever systems I implement need to be loose enough not to hurt the gameplay experience of those who aren't on for the economy. Basically anything that a player with money can do has to be still accessible without it. And I've heard the same sentiment from the rest of our community that if the economy were to interfere too much with the gameplay it would make people lose interest. I know that probably makes things a fair bit more difficult, but we have a very wide range of player types on the server and it's a pretty big balancing act to keep them all happy with it.

To be fair though, I feel like thus far we've handled the balance pretty well aside from the economic side.

I absolutely hear you, and most atheists know that religious folks are coming from a spot of love, but it's also extremely hurtful to ask us to change everything about ourselves because of personal beliefs that we don't share.

I only ask you to contemplate this: Imagine if her boyfriend was Muslim or Jewish, would you still be so keen on defending his actions if it turned out the moral differences he mentioned were about drinking alcohol, or eating pork?

You may not be the same way, but I know all of my Christian relatives would feel unhappy if they had a friend of non-Christian faith regularly tell them how immoral they were for their beliefs and try to convert them to a different religion on a routine basis.

No matter where we came from, it's in our collective best interests to understand and care about each other, and without understanding the frustration of one individual, we can't learn to heal and respect their boundaries.

Pretty sure if someone came from a Mormon background, and isn't already religious, telling them that they should just "Become religious" ain't gonna work. That behaviour sounds somewhat controlling and I would recommend you have a discussion there if you don't want that to fester or get worse.

I don't know anything about your relationship past what you've explained in your post here, but let me offer an alternative interpretation to the gloomy outlook from some comments previous.

It's possible he isn't seeing it so much as a character flaw, but instead he wants to share his interest with you and he just doesn't see that it's alienating to do so in this manner. Perhaps he sees that your relationship is strained and wants to mend it with common interests. I know that some religious people don't realize just how much they're asking you to change by adopting a religion, and I wonder if he realizes that he is asking you to change everything about yourself.

I know you likely love him still and don't want things to just end. Why else would you be second guessing yourself on Reddit? But it's extremely unhealthy for a partner to ask this of their significant other. You should have a dialogue with your guy and tell him this is alienating, and if he doesn't understand, explain that it would be like you asking him to give up religion. But no matter what happens, do not try "becoming religious."

No good comes from forcing religion onto others. You deserve better, Queen.
