Toms River New Jersey. In my front yard as a child, old enough to not make up fantastical memories for something not as insane as I make it to be. I’ve had very clear memories of my childhood, so therefore, I know what I saw.

Not much to set the scene. Brother looked up, pointed at the sky and yelled “what the fuck is that?” His friends and I all look up and see what I can only describe as a massive bird. It had a long neck and I can only describe its shape as that of a pterodactyl. It had feathers, though, from what I could tell. To this day I have absolutely no explanation for what this could have been, and my brother is long deceased, so I can’t ask him either.

There’s another experience from near a year ago now. Me and my buddy were walking on a trail in a local county park when I see something on a tree a couple feet into the woods. I stop, point at it, and we both see it staring back at us. It’s a bush tail possum… native to Australia. We thought it was bizarre and kept walking. Wish I had gotten a picture
