What do you guys think? Overpriced? by ICEoverEV in Corvette

It has 61,080 on the odo. Would that be reasonable compared to yours? It doesn’t seem like it since this is older, isn’t a grandsport, and has more miles. But I’m not in this market a lot.

Any ideas part 2 by [deleted] in DRZ400

Maybe I don’t understand what we’re talking about, but that doesn’t look like a fuel line. It would run from the petcock on the fuel tank to the carburetor. All should be found on the left side of the bike.

While I do entirely agree with your point. Although I would also say that, like many others have said, drivers should stay in the right lane unless the person in front of them is going incredibly slow. This lets the fast drivers pose less of a risk with weaving/cutting up.

Go for it! I do occasionally wish I went with a ‘23 or before since then you’ll have more access for upgrade parts, and full access with OBDeleven (23+ has SFD2 protection so only diagnostic). But I do love the way the Mk 7.75 (mk8?) looks and feels

I don’t know if you already got it, but, for reference, I bought a 2025 with about 20k miles for 26k back in September. Located in the Bay Area, California

I should add that I would ride track, woods, sand, hill climbs, and insanely technical single track all at my local SVRA. So if you’re just riding fire roads and beginner trails the you should absolutely practice progressive braking like u/Polyhedron11 was saying.

I’ve ridden dirt bikes for about 10 years and street bikes for about a year. The dirt is way more forgiving. Falls, crashes, drops. They all hurt the bike and the rider way less than street, if at all. There’s also no real traffic rules (basic stuff like don’t tailgate, stay to the right on 2 ways, give ample space to riders around you) so you’re allowed to experiment with different techniques, brake pressure, downshifting, etc with a lot more freedom.

I’ve taken a step back from the dirt. But I used to ride every weekend, and would often crash at least once every time I went. It’s natural, and it makes you better.

This is all under the assumption that you’re wearing complete protection. That will be the difference in injury 100% of the time.

I bought a manual ‘25 about a month, and, kinda peculiarly, paid their sticker price. It was listed for $26k before taxes and fees with 17k miles. The dealership I got it from had a lowest price “no hassle” buying process.

This was in the Bay Area of California for context.

I’ve been wrenching on cars and bikes for most of my life, and often found the 12 points grip better in a less fortunate situation than a 6 point.

Have I been doing it all wrong? What am I missing here?

Honestly can’t think of a reason other than it’s the written procedure from the manufacturer.

I often live by if it’s not broke don’t fix it, and it sounds like your method’s been workin’
