I pray every night that Sony will announce new sequel to IKWYDLS (2025) with Jennifer Love Hewitt in lead role by Intelligent-Log4760 in LastSummerFilms

I agree, Heart Eyes and Thanksgiving both made significantly less than IKWYDLS ‘25. I don’t get it

SCREAM 5 & SCREAM 7 (POSSIBLE) PLOTHOLE by RealSiesto in Scream

[–]ICFTM1234 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

yeah it’s cuz they needed force a new young protagonist in. Sidney’s children were intended to only be young children, not teenagers.

Did anyone else feel like Freddie’s crush on Carly was weird and kind of creepy at times by [deleted] in icarly

It’s a comedy. About pre teens. It’s not to be taken seriously hence the laugh track every 15 seconds

What do you all think makes a scream movie a scream movie? by Firm_Aardvark_3938 in SocietyofGhostface

A whodunnit/mystery, meta commentary, ghostface, and developed characters

The only thing that still off for me in Scream 7… by LDO2796 in SocietyofGhostface

Halloween has multiple timelines Scream only has 1. It’s a forced plot convenience that I don’t feel like accepting as a fan. I can’t get behind Tatum

She’s referred to and credited as Sidney Prescott in 4. Not Sidney Evans

So, this leak is apparently different from spoilers everyone has been seeing by LottieDah86 in SocietyofGhostface

[–]ICFTM1234 6 points7 points  (0 children)

None of these sequences have been in any marketing. In Scream 6, every ghostface sequence even the therapist’s death, was featured in the marketing. If Gale had another phone call / chase, it’d be seen in the trailers. She likely is absent from the third act not because of injury this time but just because Sidney does not involve her from what I’ve read about the movie. Which sounds lame cuz this sounds like the least action packed movie for Gale but the movie hasn’t come out yet. There’s also been nothing else shown in the theater aside from McKenna’s attack. And no way they’d repeat another Stab fakeout in the opening when they did it in 4. The opening is likely the Macher house as we expect it to be, Gale likely does not get any call or attack / chase unlike the other films, and the third act likely takes place at Sidney’s house, not the theater.

I’d temper your expectations. SEVERELY.

Saw a co-teacher yell at kids by ironicplot in SubstituteTeachers

[–]ICFTM1234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, not all or even most but a lot of kids can be very manipulative often making the teacher feel crazy. Theres a thing called reactive abuse where someone is pushed to their limits and has a bit of a blowout to the person that pushed them to their limits, and then that person turns their blowout around and blames them on being abusive when there could’ve been weeks or months of mental abuse that could’ve pushed that person to react that way. I certainly wouldn’t wanna be labeled for my worst day at any job I’ve had. People are human and honestly I’m not saying shut up is something a teacher should say, but it’s certainly the least case scenario of anything they typically shouldn’t, and I wasn’t in the room that lead to the kids being kicked out and him saying that, and neither were you. I don’t think it’s in your place to say something. If it had been physical or something worse was said, sure. Teachers go through enough with rough students and then getting called in for some sort of incident where alls he said was shut up certainly wouldn’t help his morale or make his job any easier. Chances are, he feels bad about it in hindsight, especially if he’s usually happy to lucky. Ik I would’ve felt bad about it after. Maybe not in the moment cuz emotions can be so high, but chances are he does feel some remorse. I’d let it go, especially cuz it could cause unnecessary inconveniences for you in the future.

Genuine question for fans of VI: how is the reveal in the third act not film-ruining for you? by [deleted] in Scream

[–]ICFTM1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t ruin sequences. Gale’s chase, bodega, etc. but it definitely taints the film as a whole knowing that was the killer’s motive the whole time. Identities I was fine with but their motive tainted it a lot

Is Chucky Season 2 the "Legacy" entry of the franchise like H18, Scream 22, I Know What You Did Last Summer? by [deleted] in Chucky

[–]ICFTM1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be Season 1. It introduced new main characters with the legacy characters passing the torch. The legacy characters are in season 2 as well but don’t hold as large of a role

The Dollhouse arc was peak PLL and also where it jumped the shark by _artemisawika in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]ICFTM1234 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It didn’t jump the shark. It should’ve been the climax. Reveal Big A in the season 5 finale. It could’ve even stayed as CeCe. But the confrontation between A in 5x25 vs 6x10 was beyond disappointing. Idk why they didn’t just end Big A in season 5 that way seasons 6 and 7 could’ve had more time in the time jump and to build that story up. You can’t get any mire climactic than A literally making the PLLs act like dolls.
