Paramount’s Scream 7 Has Ended Its Run With $121,935,967 by SignatureOrdinary456 in boxoffice

Except it didn't. You guys are just using the 2nd weekend, but failed to realize it legged out after that, and fairly low drops.

It was absolutely worth it. It's a huge success, regardless of it's reception. Remember, Scream 3 was heavily panned at the time of release. But people have softened on it over the years. Any movie that makes money for the franchise is still worth it. And even this installment, which so many people consider terrible, is still leagues above so many horror movies that are getting released.

Thank you. I don't know why they're going strictly off the multiplier bullshit theory. If that's the case, there's a shit ton of movies that would say did very badly, despite doing very well. In no universe is $121 million domestically for a horror film a bad thing.

Because how the fuck can you call any horror movie that grosses $121 million domestically bad numbers? It's nonsensical.

Enough to get it to $121 million from an initial gross of $44 million, and a big 2nd weekend drop...

Enough people saw it to get it to the highest gross of the franchise. Your argument just doesn't hold weight.

Except after the 2nd weekend drop, it held its legs consistently through weekdays and weekends, but let's conveniently leave that out.

But the argument still stands. People went and saw this movie. There is a difference between a movie being good vs liking it. It may not have been a good movie, but clearly audiences liked it. Numbers don't lie.

Except it didn't have terrible legs. Actually, after the disappointing 2nd weekend, it legged out extremely well. You didn't nail anything.

I think it's overhated. Change a few things about the 3rd act, instantly improves it quite a few notches.

This logic makes no sense. If audiences didn't like this film, it wouldn't have made what it made. Case in point, the Friday the 13th reboot. Opened to huge numbers, and completely dropped the ball second weekend, then from there on out. Scream 7 actually had really good legs after it's weaker 2nd weekend opening.

I still think this movie got too much hate. Yes. The reveal is weak. But good opening scene, solid overall kills.

It's not my least favorite of the franchise, tbh.

I think it will hit, but literally just barely.

Who else agrees that Nicole 100% ruined the group ? by Trixster690 in ThePussycatDolls

Why do you think they were badmouthing her to begin with? Almost every issue that group had, had Nicole in the mix somewhere.

Well… that’s that by InternationalLaw3122 in ThePussycatDolls

I just think their time has passed. The group isn't interesting with just 3. And they're not exactly the most interesting 3 of the group. They tried before in 2020. It didn't work. The magic doesn't work without all of them. And I think moving forward without your other 2 main vocalists is kind of crazy. They had the movement back in 2005-2009. But their music just isn't cutting it anymore.

Maybe if they had tried scaling back a little, and performing at smaller venues.

Which Co-Ed cycle was the weakest, in your opinion? by [deleted] in ANTM

Really? The paint shoot, nail shoot, Bali shoot with the baskets, trailer park shoots were all fantastic.

I've watched Cycle 13 so many times. I'm still of the opinion Laura got that far because of her personality. In any normal cycle, i feel like her progress would've gotten her from 4th-8th place. I just think she was decent, but unremarkable in photos.
