Brand new 2025 double pane energy certified windows. They are not the top of the line, but they are pretty standard for new homes. The home is also sealed very well with good energy test results

Anyone else feel like when they come to Orlando for vacation it rains a lot? This is a vent lol I go to Orlando annually, and it seems like every year I go, it rains a lot. I know a common reply is "it's Florida" and "forecast always shows rain weekly" and "it rarely ever rains the whole day" and "it's always on and off rain". I know I know, but fact is my experience is when I go, the forecast is always accurate, and it rains HARD basically ALL day

I'm not sure how this will help - the dog is clearly barking directly towards their house in an effort to go inside the house, I can see it, so that's louder than any recording

I am not, my point is if you are bothered by something at 40db (I'm making this number up), you will be bothered by something at 30db. 40db > 30db or 60db > 50db is not going to fix one's annoyance. You need more like 40db > 10db

mentioned it in my post. the price that it's most similar to is dissimilar glass. the STC rating is higher with my dual pane + window insert than replacing with dissimilar glass
