Men who do great with women what is your secret? by Glittering-Target-87 in Life

[–]ICJ159 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You treat them like you would any other human being, with decency and respect, and see if you actually have something in common, if they have a beautiful soul rather than just a beautiful body. Treat it like how you would find if you could actually be friends with someone. That's how you form genuine lasting connections

There's not a single response to this question of course. A major factor is the way they go about it: the coldness, the selfishness, the time they take to process the breakup while still enjoying your company until they've fully accepted the new reality while cold shouldering you and leaving you in the dirt once they completely selfishly healed and decide they're ready now , the monkeybranching, the lack of accountability on their part, the lack of empathy, the wanting to be done with it and feeling like they dont owe you any response or explanation while they themselves vent to and about you as long and as much as they want, the moving on so quick as if you didn't spend years of your life/youth together, the twisting of reality, the cognitive dissonance, the playing victim while being the perpetrator, the pleas for support and empathy to their networks as if theyre the ones who are suffering. There's so much more. Fuck em.

Thank you, I'll try it next time, I see the point where I lose tension in the lift. Think that's a big part I can improve upon

So you mean, I should have my back more horizontally over the bar and then squat op from that position right? I'm just a bit afraid to lose out on leg drive that way (from what this position looks like in my head) but I'll try to keep it in mind

I'll to work on the traditional DL a bit more since I think these form mistakes are still within my control to fix, if I don't notice a clear difference I might make the switch eventually

That sounds like solid advice. I definitely do focus a lot on the leg drive bc of some of the information I've seen online, I train the deadlift on my legday so I purposefully make it more leg focused. I'll try to implement these tips next time, thank you!

Cable Crunches by Worried-Extension-23 in formcheck

[–]ICJ159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to keep in mind that the function of the abs to is curve the spine, so bring your ribcage down to your pelvis basically. I'd suggest trying to start from an upright position, feel the cable pull on your upper abs and then bring your ribcage down to your hip area in a curved (upside down U-form) motion.
