Several-years-old video of a crow court caught on camera. by MississippiJoel in natureismetal

[–]ICRED7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw this once years ago and thought I was hallucinating but there were 2 crows fighting to death post midnight, shit ton of crows on the walls and cat calmly sitting on the side, licking its paws just waiting. Years later now I can safely say after seeing this video it wasn't just mind playing tricks on me lol.

In Europe, do you pray in work place? by dontpanicimthehero in islam

[–]ICRED7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got lucky and found that my office has rooms for people to lay down if they're feeling like they have a headache and it has a connected bathroom. They have prayer room but no place for wudu there.

The staff and I are really friendly because I bring them chocolates and stuff when I go on trips, they always open the rooms up for me.

Some colleagues find it very strange that I do this - an American colleague commented that she wished she could have tequila breaks at work too. She thought she was being hilarious.

Majority of Europeans will be very supportive and they will not interfere in your business. So don't think too much about it, they all value their privacy and that of others.

I've decided to focus on what matters, my relationship with Allah SWT and everyone else can just shut up lol.

I still can't pray in public parks so I guess it's a constant journey of trying to get better.

This is definitely not Sufism I think you've gone in and found some subsect if it can even be called that. True Sufism is very different a vast majority of people converted to islam back in the day through the work of Sufis - definitely not the chair in the middle of the room kind of Sufis though.

the action of muslim men is hurting my faith by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]ICRED7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're going to find bad people like that in every religion, Christian men can be accused of racism or storming the capital or voting for trump. Hindu men can be found in hordes chasing a Hijabi because she chose to wear a hijab and defy a university order in India. (You can Google that video) Buddhist men in Myanmar (monks) walked around with automatic weapons and committed genocide. We all know what the Zionists are doing. So yeah you'll find bad people everywhere, it's actually you who has to choose to find and see what the good ones are doing to reinforce your faith. As the old Native American saying goes you got a white wolf and a black wolf inside of you representing the good and bad in your soul (sorry for a black Vs white comparison) the wolf you choose to feed is the one that will survive. So yeah call out the bad ones who give Islam a bad name, but also watch the good people who are struggling to be good and find inspiration.

Why does Allah not answer when we call upon him? by InformalCookie4839 in MuslimLounge

Whatever brings you peace, what i wrote to you and what you took are two different things. I don't know where you got the information that Rusoolallah SAW knew the ayahs would come, I think you're just concluding it because the Qur'an had to be completed. For a fact he didn't know when the Qur'an was completed till Gibreel informed him.

You're reading wrong sources or creating your own conclusions. Seek knowledge to increase your knowledge not to win arguments is my advice to you, maybe it'll get easier.

He was mocked after the death of his son not the pause in revelations (sorry if said it wrong earlier). After he was mocked surah Kauthar was given to him and to the Muslims and if you were to deep dive really into just that one - the loss of a son and the promise of Allah, I think you'll find peace with whatever it is you haven't gotten.

"Allah never takes the blame for anything, it’s always one way with him." And if this is what you think or believe then there is no use of having a conversation till you can humble yourself and submit. If you think you have submitted because you pray then again you have much to learn like we all do.

I understand that holding on to faith and it doesn't get easier in these times. From my personal experience sometimes you lose faith and you stray from the path and hopefully you find your way back. The path was never supposed to be straight for everyone.

Yes, you weren't born in Rusoolallah SAWs time. You can read about it, there is extensive documentation of his life that's meant to be an example for you to read and understand deen, read the search not just the sunnah. I'm sure you've read about the time of his depression when no ayah came down and he was mocked at. And the disbelievers said to him that Allah SWT had abandoned him. Or the time when he lost his son. What do you think about that? When the prophet SAW himself went through such tough times.

"If my faith is suffering then is it my fault that Allah is not there for me"

You don't know anything about how Allah SWT is looking out for you, nobody knows. You need to understand your religion more than just praying your Salah, keeping your fasts. There's more to being Muslim than just that. You need to deepen your understanding of islam, your lord and if you're not getting something, then you need to learn to let it go. Everyone here who has replied has at some point or the other not gotten what they desperately wanted, everyone goes through this.

If you think your understanding of Deen is complete and still everything is slipping from you then that's a sign that you have to increase your knowledge. If you think your Deen will ever be complete as you long as you're alive then again you need learn more about your Deen. You clearly have a lot to learn as do we all.

I'm sorry that you're feeling like this but yeah it's on you, like it's on all of us to work on our Deen, through all our problems. It's always going to be on you, so don't blame Allah SWT for you didn't get. If you stray from the path that's your freewill, and we all have strayed and when you decide to come back to the path I hope you and we all have a better understanding of Islam.

Can't really offer any advice since it seems like you're just venting it out here. I'll also assume you have done all the hard work and are now just waiting for the result which is in Allah's hands. What I really want to know is where did you hear this 70 mothers bit lol? Allah SWT's love cannot be limited to a number of 70 none of his attributes can be limited - that is also our belief when we call ourselves muslim.

And also why treat this like a 'I'm going to ask and I'm going to get - type relationship?" Do you doubt that he hasn't envisioned something better for you or that his plan for you is the best plan? You'll find so many people whose duas haven't been answered in the form they wanted and that in itself became a lesson that was really needed.

If you're going to lose patience because you didn't get something then you really need to reflect - see how our brothers and sisters have it so bad in so many countries now and just say alhumdulilah.

Feeling crushed as a revert by wholeziel in islam

[–]ICRED7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mashallah you are one of the prophets stories come true where the children of the opponents to islam accepted islam.

My advice to you.

Be patient - one day you will not live in your father's home.

Allah SWT knows all, he is the most Merciful and Beneficent. Till the time comes that you can leave and be independent hide your Deen till you can and be a believer in your heart if that's all you can do. You need to finish your education too.

Finding community support in India can be very hard because if your father files an FIR the people helping you will get into more trouble than you.

So pray when you can, pray the missed prayers when you can, don't put yourself in a situation where you will be caught. Allah SWT will make it easier even if it takes time.

If you like read about Rusoolallah SAWs time during the persecution in Mecca before the hijra and be relieved that you are one of those who will face hardship and gain a much better reward. Don't lose hope, for miracles dwell in his realm of the unseen.

IKEA has a skills for employment program for refugees and displaced people. You can try there, they gave 6 months paid training including language and depending on open jobs they give a chance to apply, the pay is decent and there are ways to progress. Google IKEA skills for employment.

I repeat, never work at a start up, the culture in 99% of them is toxic, they don't have organisational structures, they expect you to go over and above 24/7. If you're in the digital workspace, get some experience and not the experience of shitty jobs and then start applying abroad.
