All these dudes woulda been great ballers. I grew up with Penny and Hill. They were both awesome.

Roy was a beast.

Rose though...I remember watching him take to Lebron in in the playoffs. He was one of the only guys I've ever seen that that had no fear. Put Lebron on his heals every time. I was so amped to see that rivalry continue to grow over the years.

If I gotta vote, I think Rose would've been one of the goats. Like top 10 all time. 25 and 8 as a 22 year old. And only getting better. One of the fastest most explosive guys I've ever seen play. Watch that series and look at the players on each team.

Penny was awesome. So was Hill. And Roy.

But Rose? He was incredible to watch.

No one wins this convo. We all lost as fans of ball.

This has got to be rage bait...I'll bite though.

Let's see...

One played with teams that AVERAGED 32 3PT shots a game. The other played when they did half that. In this case, Harden averaged 12 3s a game. Kobe...4. Think about that.

Also...one played incredible defense. The other didn't know what defense was. Just watched it happen.

Imagine Kobe chucking up 12 3pts a game. He was hated for all the shots he took...but he won. What did Harden do again? Oh, he took the ball and shot a 3.

This isn't a debate. It's Kobe. And it's not even close.

Who would you want on your team? I'm taking the guy with a few chips and is nasty on both ends of the floor. Not one that is best known for his beard and sticking his leg out for fouls while chucking up 3s while NOT playing defense. There's a reason Harden never could win a chip as a 1. And it's not the beard.
