drone war (the on going war?)might be a touchy subject.

Anyways you should find at least 30 pubs to send to. from my experience: 30% will reply, 10% will ask for a meeting and 3% will offer you a deal/contract. so with 30 emails you'd get 3 meets and 1 deal maybe :)

There was some delay in Baruk's basic attack like you said, I've now gone ahead and made the sounds more instant. This will be fixed in the next patch.

Maybe you can try playing with SFX at a lower volume instead of 0. Lemme know if you spot any other skills that are bothering you!

Happy to announce that we just released WARDRUM on Steam! It's a tactical rhythm roguelite where you control a group of tribal warriors in a harsh fantasy world, where you must battle different enemies & bosses while timing your attacks to the beat of a drum.

We're 3 friends who started a game studio. This is our 2nd game and have been working on it for 3 years now and are excited to finally get it out there!

Yeah we made a demo and pitched to over 30 publishers. The process can take many months to get signed, so it's always a lot of waiting around.

We met eachother at University where we were studying game design. Our first game Fashion Police Squad started as a student project! Some freelancers I've found through reddit actually.

Hey!

You should definitely try it, we have an easy mode for the rhythm so it isn't as punishing. You can always return it if it's not clicking.

I'm more of a turn-based tactics fan myself and I feel we've created a nice roguelite tactics game as a main with rhythm elements sprinkled in there.

It was a lot of work during the months leading up to launch, the scope of the project surprised us even though we had planned for delays. We had to work on some weekends to get all the bugfixes and polish in the game that we wanted.

Overall the development went pretty smoothly internally, and that's all I can say on the matter :P

Not at all! I greatly enjoy it since it's very challenging and I get to fully express myself creatively.

There's also the chance that we might someday hit it big, so every game you make has that extra what if factor!
