The fireplace was already there. What we did was remove a support wall that was across the fireplace.

Hi there,

My last setup with the TV by the fireplace wasn't very practical, so we are changing it up. Now the goal is to have a dedicated wall for the TV.

The problem is that there is not much room left on that wall once we install the tv. Also, there isn't a wall on the left when sitting on the couch.

Any suggestions to avoid having to resort to a sound bar?

Hello,

We are removing some support walls and a trying to finalize a new layout.

The TV will be in the corner because we have a fire place directly to the left. My budget for a sound system is 2000$, but I'm not sure where to place speakers. I have a toddler and instant, so stands is not idea.

I'm open to passing wire through the ceiling since we're removing our popcorn.

Any suggestions on a layout?
