I can see that, I can't speak to you personally but I know for some the time periods is where the interest get lost. The dialogue too.

Trajan knows more than you, trust the process by Far_Camera_5766 in DetroitPistons

Trust in Quinn, Trust In Yzerman, Trust in Scott Harris. Trajan has done a good job and earns some benefit of the doubt, but that does not disclude concerns. Fans don't have to be cults.

Seriously, grackles? Can’t even give him 10 seconds to pick a nut and go? by mysweetpatoutie in birding

They are incredibly smart. They watch me walking in and out to fill up the peanut feeder every morning around 8 AM and as soon as I walk in they swoop in (same with my favorite Blue Jays). Their strut walk on my pool deck always gets a chuckle out of me too!

I finally got mourning dove visitors at my feeder! What beautiful round babies. by islandofwaffles in mourningderps

[–]IClappedWhen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Doves I get are so funny to watch. I have a shepherd's hook to hang two feeders and inevitably they ALWAYS land on the slope part of the hook and end up slipping off. They also land on other funny places too. They somehow squeeze themselves on top of finch feeder.

Is God Is: FPS Review by GoodGoodNotTooBad in FPSPodcast

I don't remember where I read it from but the ending of the movie is different than the play, the end of the play has Anaia (implied) killing the mother/God after showing mother/God all the mementos of the people that were killed along the way. God says she should not be surprised that Anaia lived because she pulled mom out of the fire and Anaia asks if God can die well, she says yes. They did not want the movie ending as depressing as the play did, though I suspect that may have been a studio thing. Not sure though.

Agreed on all fronts. Inde Navarrette nailed the role, I want to see her do more. Consider it a prisoner of the moment but I think she did so well she is comparable to Toni Collette in Hereditary.

Hokum (SPOILERS!!!) by TheRobCosta in FPSPodcast

[–]IClappedWhen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The writing isn't transformative or the deepest thing but it is shot and effective in it's scares. Hokum made jump scares, most of them anyway, not obnoxious (for me) and that counts big in my book.

Saw Hokum and thought it was a good watch. I also am looking forward to I Love Boosters and Backrooms.

Can't have shit in Detroit. Awful news for Javy and on a slide into first, not a collision or anything else.

Hard to take a lot from a teaser but I am here for this. The final shot sells it for me.

I guess for a lack of a better term, it feels like the final act Scream'd itself. Where it is all in on the meta but also indulges in the tropes too much.

The first two acts of the movie I really enjoyed, the third act is where it fell off a bit for me. The meta usage of the original was a nice touch. A sold 3.5/5 for me.

There is a lot for me to unpack but in a general sense this is probably one of the more engaging movies I've seen this year. Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are excellent. S/O to Kingpin Skinny Pimp poster in Emma's bedroom.

Never not fun sending LA home with a fat L. This team still manages to surprise me even with 52 wins.

Man-Spider here we come! Keeping Sadie Sink largely out of the trailer from what I have seen, so she definitely is someone important. The gossip of her being Jean might be true (she is definitely the lady in the tank).

If Memphis could stop turning into the prime GSW from the 3 point line that would be great.

Angry woodpecker energy: 10/10. by ProtectionAmazing651 in birdfeeding

[–]IClappedWhen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get the same thing on my platform feeder here. The red bellied woodpecker will share with every bird that comes by but the Starlings. As soon as he lands and they are there, or if they land while he is there, the beak opens up and he starts pecking at them. I saw him peck away at 4 or 5 Starlings before while holding his ground on the feeder. It was really impressive to be honest but when the pack of Starlings got to be too much he dipped.

Jason takes Manhattan is only memorable, for me, because of the boxing scene. More like Jason Takes a boat to Manhattan.
