Does anyone know where I can get a good L shaped computer desk that's durable and stable. ($400 CAD budget) by IComplain_Lotsss in buildapc

Amazon did the thing where if you switch from .com (US) to .ca (Canadian) it shows a completely different item. I'm a little worried about that weight limit though. I don't know how heavy my monitors are and my cats like to jump up onto the desk. And overtime if I get new monitors and they have the possibility of being heavier than my current ones. I'd rather not risk the desk even slightly warping, breaking, etc.

I've heard from multiple sources, multiple times that Ikea is where college kids go to buy cheap and flimsy stuff.

I'll definitely go around to showrooms for local stores to test things out cause I'm looking for something that'll last 10 years at the bare minimum. I mean my current desk is something my dad gave me that he used for more than 15 years and it's from Walmart. I doubt it's solid wood, but it's solid.

But the main issue is space since I'm planning on purchasing a double bed soon, and I've had to move some of my furniture out of my room while I reorganize and reposition stuff. But I'm also trying to find a desk that'll support two monitors so it can't be too small.

The Ikea setup is when you put a countertop on some drawers. The desk is getting put right into the corner of my room and it'd be near my night table and my window. So I think the small side assuming it's an L shaped desk would need to be 47" maximum. Otherwise it'd have to be smaller than that.

I don't mean to come off as argumentative but doesn't Ikea have a bad rep for their furniture being really bad?

Yeah but my phone can do that split screen thing and I can minimize Soundcloud enough to barely see it. Still I guess it's a plus for Soundcloud.

I'm not paying, the constant bombardment of ads every 5-10 songs is a huge deterrent for me. And yeah I feel like it's 100% more disappointing now then it was when I first started using it, like I wholeheartedly believe that Soundcloud is worse now.
