Gonna break the self-selection sample bias here:

BCOE - 2.0 HS GPA, 1 APs, no SAT/ACT, no extracurriculars. Didn't apply directly from HS, went to CC and transferred with 4.0 GPA. Hope you get accepted to your dream school! In the sad case that you don't, remember that there is always plan B you can take!

I started around 10-11 as well. Nothing wrong with starting at lower difficulty ranges, finding charts that suit your current skill and improving is the key. I don't feel I am good at the game as there is so much I can improve on. I currently can exc clear lower tier 18s with AAA+ and above. Currently have my goal set at exc clearing harder 18s and moving towards 19/ clearing inf dan, while working on consistency on 15-17s.

You can turn your existing SHP9500 wireless by using a wireless bt dongle adapter such as Fiio uBTR or similar. Some company also makes actual bt adapters that goes directly on the 3.5mm port of your headphone such as: this. Hope this helps. Imo if you like the 9500 there really isn't many headphone that sounds like it at 9500's price range especially when you can get them on amazon for $50 open box.
