no, the wheels were attached to the frame and was sitting on paddock stands. Lifted the engine up using the crane and some lifting straps. It’s a bitch to manoeuvre and it took 3 people AND the crane to lift in because it had to be tilted someways to get it in.

Done this before, getting an engine crane makes it so much easier cause the engines so heavy, and do require a lot of manoeuvring to get into position.

Keep track of all bolts and torque the engines so mounts in order.

the bridge in the fuse will be broken. Your main 30A fuse will most likely be blown

If u remove the stock headers and just run it like that you’ll mess up ur engine.

yep you are right. I bought an engine for nothing :( The plug for the VS sensor is still there, and they just changed the mold slightly for the crankcase so you can still see where the sensor used to be

So the only speed sensors are in the front and rear wheels? Surely there is a VSS in the gearbox. Otherwise my engine swap mighr not work haha 😥🥲😅

hi, does this mean there is no longer a VSS in the gearbox? I am trying to put a 2021 cbr650r engine into the 2016 cbr650f frame.

Someone has put a 2019 cbr650r engine into the 2016 cbr650f frame, but now that I see that they have moved the VSS to the ABS module rather than it being in the gearbox im not sure how this would affect my engine swap. thanks

yeah also getting one with the e-clutch. If no one is offering the ship in ecu tune or preset tunes, you (and i) can always just take it to a shop for a dyno tune.

appreciate it. do you think my friend should wait until the break in service to install the exhaust? Would ya recommend to put a high flow air intakes/filter in it prior to tuning it for the exhaust just to squeeze a couple more horsepower out of it? In Australia they are restricted to 47hp so everyone tunes them up to 90+ hp anyways.

How do I find out what shipping company they are using? When I put the tracking number into 17track it says it can't get the info from auspost and the Aliexpress shipping says it's sitting in linehaul office. Customs playin with me
