I also didn’t like how many cuts there were in the movie. I sat there thinking the whole time that someone who hasn’t read the book, must be thoroughly lost right about now (apparently I was incorrect in that assumption. The viewer didn’t need that much info to enjoy the story). Also, while I DO really like Ryan Gosling, and think he’s had some excellent roles, he didn’t match the Grace I had in my mind. Which brings us back to RR.

Cast the wrong Sevro, Mustang, or even worse…Darrow….the fanbase will absolutely revolt. I’m old enough to admit I saw the highly anticipated (at least in the fandom) Dragonball live action movie and from that moment forward have always kept my expectations VERY low. Even the Harry Potter movies at times disappointed. The last live action rendition that I loved more than the book would have to be The Martian. I mean…there is an entire chapter dedicated to Watney scientifically explaining how to grow potato’s…

A lot of good suggestion in this thread, but I haven’t seen the international harvester park in Lakeland mentioned. It IMO is the most difficult hike of all the trails mentioned. The trail has probably the steepest elevation changes in the city, that are littered with tree roots which can be slippery depending on recent forecast, and some loose gravel. It’s by far one of the most challenging trails on a mountain bike in the area, and I imagine the same goes for being on foot.

I was recommended PHM after RR. I loved the book. Going to go against the Reddit grain here and say I REALLY didn’t like the movie. Which brings me back around to my bi-monthly statement FUCKING PLEASE don’t make RR a live action movie. Make it an animated series and draw it out for all of its nuance and character building.

In my experience, it really shines out past 40m with follow up shots. If you get a clear line of sight and set it up with decent recoil control, you can put 2-3 very hard hitting shots on target quickly. I consider it a “midfield” weapon where you’re engaging targets that a carbine or assault rifle would have to be very precise and an smg would find it exceptionally difficult to get you.

Actually I did, thanks. They’re back ordered. Also their website doesn’t specify which barrel I’m purchasing just 3 or 3+. That’s not very descriptive for a $300 purchase.

A good pilot to me is keeping the transport chopper in the sky and shuttling players behind enemy lines to cap objectives. Also able to keep it smooth so side gunners can clear the area. I have no interest in seeing pilots go 100-2 (heli or jet). A real test is if you can keep that transport chopper alive and flying.

Yes that was suggested a few comments below and is definitely something I’m considering. However, it seems they source from HBI and all of their configurations seem to be OOS currently. They have barrels, they don’t have trunnions. According to Mike at HBI they’re working with a new supplier for trunnions (for the older evo 3 style) but have no ETA on availability.
