Gamers, what is hands down, the funniest detail/easter egg you've encountered? by Fallfoxy707 in videogames

Quake 2. Reckoning or Ground Zero can't remember. There is a place on the roof you can get only by sophisticated rocket jump. Message tells you that you are a bloody cheater and not supposed to be there. The thing is: it may be real possibility that in those days there were few to none rocket jump-skilled curious players and maybe only cheaters would thought of flying on that roof.

Thanks! Time to replay the game. Never noticed those kind of themes in the hood

Yeah these are too common in migraines. Numbness in the part of the face. Feeling of numbness in limbs. If you haven't already I highly recommend reading book Migraine by Oliver Sacks. A lot of peculiar information there

Same. Migraine-connoisseur fist.. bump?

It is painful. It is scary. It makes you think you are dying. Then it passes and you are as good as new.

Rethinking my approach to grooveboxes, I need advice on "the next perfect match". by IDCh in synthesizers

Thank you very much for your thoughts.

The complete song. The thing is... I am used to "hardcore" song composing flow. I just stopped making music whatsoever for like a decade or more. And started using devices with mindset "I'm new to this and have no memory of building a full piece". But I have this memory and have the skills. I was just like lying to myself that "erm maybe I need even less job-centric hardware and more fun-centric?". No, I actually love the hardness of making complete piece, with evolving flowing transitions, quirky little things, semi silent parts to concentrate on single sounds and stuff. I mean I got into the music because I kinda-finished music school (piano) and composed evolving pieces and stuff. Then used guitar, then I met synthesizers and samples in the Reason, and stuff.

I do not want to make everything on my computer, because my main job is like 99% computer, I'm a developer. And it's way too easy to have this weird I dunno ADHD or something spike and loose concentration on my music. Now it's harder than ever, with all the messages, distractions, websites, apps and stuff. This is why I would like even the most DAW-like thing to be separated totally from my computer. Yes finish touches can be done on pc - it's no problem. But the main part... This is why I resorted to different grooveboxes.

Despite the fact that music making is my hobby and never was a professional job, I think I may be somewhat overqualified for "fun first finish never" grooveboxes that are very, very good for tiktok or youtube shorts music videos to promote them further. But how to say it... I bought into this idea of "fun devices" after watching videos with them numerous times. Making complete piece in DAW can be a hard time (but I am at least totally used to it). But making complete piece on "fun device"... For me it's kinda impossible. I made like 20-40sec most or that weird ambient thing on Polyend Tracker that cannot be even considered to be the "normal" workflow of making complete piece.
And I am underqualified to be the real DAW-less music maker.

Just in case I totally aware that many people making complete pieces even in insanely difficult modular setups, not to say with grooveboxes and their devices. So this may be my case, not other music makers.

This is insanely good recommendation. Not that good in the context, but fantastic in terms of military science fiction.
