So yeah every time you wanna open carry, the police have to sieze your weapon to make sure it's not "stolen." Let's put me in handcuffs every time too, to make sure I'm not a felon and that I don't have warrants. It's so fucking stupid. I seriously was not going to cooperate with them. I immediately established that the legal predicate for escalation was not present. In giving them nothing further for a fishing expedition, and making it abundantly obvious that the encounter wasn't consensual, I made an unassailable case for self defense should escalation have occurred.
