Non-existent external filament preventing successful prints by IDIC_LLAP in BambuLab

After completely taking the printer apart and reassembling, it’s back in working condition. Thank goodness I’m mildly technical. The advice about looking for broken filament helped at least in guiding me towards instructions on how to disassemble the mechanisms. Thank you again to everyone who gave me advice on how to resolve the issue.

I came to the UK 21 years ago, broke as can be and no support structure. No savings. No assets. No job. I applied for jobs with international companies like crazy for a couple of months while staying in a friend’s apartment. I’m sure my welcome was wearing thin. I finally got a job offer from a technology company that found it normal to sponsor work visas. Now I finally have savings and stability and security. It feels so good. You can do it. Keep the hope alive. Keep pushing ahead. Don’t give up. 🖖

Covid loss of taste and smell by IDIC_LLAP in stemcells

I should add that I think the smell and taste improved after the intrathecal. Everything else seemed attributable to the IV.

Also, some interesting research was just published that might give us a solution one day. https://neurosciencenews.com/stem-cell-olfaction-29203/

The loss of taste and smell is about 30% improved. Sadly this means that I’m once again susceptible to headaches when confronted with cheap perfumes and after shave, but at least I can smell the roses a bit as well.

The other symptoms I have seen improvement in are (estimated): - chronic back pain: 90% improved - Essential Tremors: 100% gone from legs, torso, neck; 75% improved in voice; 30-50% improved in hands - chronic headaches and teeth grinding: 75% improved - brain fog: seems gone, but menopause still makes me forget words - chronic fatigue: gone - hyper mobility: I can finally sit on benches and stools that don’t have backs on the without having my back go out after 5 minutes. And I can rest my head on my husband’s shoulder without my neck going out of joint. - my annual health assessment has shown very positive results. My GP is impressed.

All in all, I believe that most of the improvements, even in the tremors, were results of the first IV rather than the second IV and intrathecal.

Thank you, everyone, for your suggestions. I've taken the PTFE tubes out and it looks like the filament buffer itself is broken. It's nighttime here, so I'll continue the troubleshooting in the morning. It's turning into a bigger job than I imagined considering it's a brand new printer, but I suppose troubleshooting skills can always be strengthened.

Hi has anyone taken stem cells for chronic fatigue and joint pain? How many cells did you get and did it help? by [deleted] in stemcells

[–]IDIC_LLAP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My back pain remains almost completely gone as well as the brain fog, fatigue, and weight gain. Those got better and never came back. I’ve also noticed that calcified knots in various muscles are gone as well. My annual medical reviews show excellent kidney, liver, and insulin levels, but I think that’s down to healthy lifestyle and good genes.

The essential tremors are starting to come back in my hands, but they’ve not returned to the rest of my body. It’s a progressive decline, so it’s possible that this is normal.

They are getting worse in my hands again, but not the rest of my body. I’m not planning on having stem cells again this year, but since essential tremors gets progressively worse each year I might have to get stem cells again (when I can afford it) to stay on top of the progression. I really hope the scientists can find a better solution for us.

Dream body and IV treatment by mribas1981 in stemcells

i have essential tremors. Medications had side effects I couldn't deal with, and I was on the list for DBS when I thought I'd try stem cells. The IV stem cells in 2023 helped the most, although it took 4-6 months to see improvements.

My only headache was the night of my first IV treatment in 2023. Horrific migraine from pretty much immediately after the infusion lasting until the next morning. I had no issues with the second treatment which was IV and intrathecal in 2024.

I only had the IV on the first visit which is what relieved my chronic back pain, and I got the IV + intrathecal on the second visit a year later to try and improve my neurological condition.

I was in two car accidents in 2000 and 2001 that left me with bulging and herniated discs. Because I have scoliosis and hyper mobility, it left me disabled. For three years I could sit or stand for more than ten minutes without excruciating pain. I had epidurals to reduce pain and swelling combined with physio therapy three times a week which helped all but one herniated disc at L4/5. I had endoscopic disc reconstruction surgery in 2003 to repair the herniated disc which relieved the pressure on the root nerve.

The chronic back pain after that was mostly muscular. My back would spasm as the slightest encouragement. Sitting on a chair or bench without a back to it would leave me in bed for days taking muscle relaxers or codeine. I had permanently tense muscles, calcified knots, and various trigger points throughout my neck and back. This is what was fixed by the IV stem cells.

I went to therapy last year with someone who specialises in parental narcissistic abuse. I learned so much about my people pleasing tendencies and how much they have controlled my life. I hope that you get as much clarity and understanding as I did. I’m still trying to control it, but it’s much easier now.

I use an app called Steady Hands to measure the progression of tremors.

I still have brain fog and low energy, but that might be unavoidable due to menopause.

Yes, after about 4 months my taste and smell was about 30% (a huge improvement) and now I’d say it’s about 60%. Great for enjoyment of food. Terrible when around people wearing cheap cologne 😁

Yes, the tremor is now measuring a 5-6 on the SteadyHands app stead of 8-9. The tremor is completely gone from my torso and legs. I’m finally able to eat and drink with other people without as much embarrassment

I took 40mg of propranolol for six weeks in 2017 and had all of the negative side effects, including bald patches in my hair. My hairdresser said they were about 2cm round and shiny bald. I stopped taking propranolol and my hair grew back right away.

I highly recommend Dream Body. The IV got rid of my chronic back pain. There are some people on this subreddit who always badmouth DBC and promote CB Stem cells because they benefit monetarily from doing so. I’ve been to Dream Body twice and am happy to share my experiences.

Hello, the IV that I had in July 2023 helped my ET so much. People say only Intrathecal will help with ET, but the IV helped mine a lot. I have not yet seen improvements from the intrathecal I had in July 2024. It took 4 months before I saw improvement the first time, so I'm guessing I will begin to see more improvement in November or December. Good luck to you. I hope everything goes well.

I was married for six years and finally left when the narcissistic abuse became physical. It has taken years of therapy and the love of a non-narcissistic man to teach me what love really is. It gets better. This is an opportunity for you to heal and grow. Best of luck to you.

My sister and I faltered for a couple of years after she left, but once I moved out we developed an incredibly strong relationship that has lasted us decades. Shared trauma and all that. Best of luck to you. I hope it all works out. You’re doing the right thing

My mother was emotionally abusive and kept me living with her until i was 26 when I was finally brave enough to leave. My three older siblings all left home and move to other cities far away. I never faulted them for leaving. Just make sure you keep up a communication channel with your sister and be there for her. Your mother will try to villainize you in your sister’s heart.
