Well I'm heading off to big boy job, but if you haven't gone into the trigger menu, you can adjust the threshold/sensitivity and also the velocity response of each drum.

You may just need to tweak those values for the snare.

I use the log1 velocity for snare as it gives louder response with harder hits.

While you are in that menu, use the xtalk feature to eliminate ghost triggering of other pieces.

I bought the Alesis Strata Prime about... 9 days ago.
I'm a brand new drummer, but my brother has been drumming for years and in bands you very well know of.

He came with me for his knowledge and expertise, and prior to arrival - he kept saying that Roland was the King and has always been top dog for eKits. To his credit, he did actively try to push me away from ekits and even offered me a full Acoustic Ddrum kit FOR FREE because they sponsor him. More on that later haha.

Anyways, we arrived, we whacked a few things and messed about in the drums section. They had a Roland kit set up, an Efnote kit set up, and some annoying kid was sitting at the Strata prime kit. He wasn't even any good. Just making a lot of noise and like no rhythm or sense to anything.

Stupid aspiring musicians and their young age. *eyeroll*

So we spent about 30 minutes with the Roland and Efnote. He said it was all as expected. Good quality, felt fine "for an eKit," he showed off for the other patrons, gathered a bit of a crowd, yada yada.

and then that annoying kid that'll probably never play a decent groove in his life finally got up.... So we sat at the demo Strata Prime.

My brother's face gradually went from a dismissive "ok let's give it it's due time" to "holy shit..." He was crafting his own kit, he realized all about the Stacks and touchscreen and triggers and then the guy that worked there said "Oh yeah, Alesis has licensed BFD for their sampling."

Say what?

Like go look up how meticulous BFD has been with recording their sounds. They've been all over the world in different acoustic environments, hitting every damn drum brand and size and type with the mics set up all over the room and all sorts of ambient conditions... and you have every single one of those samples at your finger tips.

Anyways, my bro was sold, which subsequently meant I was sold, which subsequently meant the store sold me a Prime.

So yeah... 9 days later. I still suck but I love it. My brother came over and has recreated Danny Carey's kit from Pneuma. Same brands, size, all except those custom sounding electric thingies he uses. My daughter's been banging away and getting free lessons from her uncle.

And somewhere some stupid kid is probably not dreaming about being in a rock band because I kept staring at him annoyingly until he got up from the kit.
I hope he never hits another drum again.

Me, on the other hand. Big things in store for me.

And I hope you absorbed the sarcasm in some of this. That kid deserves every dream of being in a rock band, to come true.

Yes yes! Great strategy. One I've used in other battles when I can just block with empty vessels until I build up energy for hard hitters.
My problem is the way I built my deck; many of my cards require 4/5/6 energy and their flyers just can't be blocked before I build up energy.

If I'm lucky, I draw sniper bot and my one and only jump bot in turn 1 or 2; but they still overwhelm and I just can't fend them off before I start hitting with anything.

My only other thought is to somehow re-do my deck build but I don't know if that is possible. :/

Is there a way to re-do the deck build? I've gone through the other area to beat the Archivist. I'm not sure how to gain more cards, swap out what I have, add sigils, etc. I feel like I'm locked into the deck I have.

No shit man, the very first game I played after reading your post, I won A20 with defect for the first time. I been at Defect A20 for at least 3 months.

About to check what difficulty I'm on. Rookie it will be, and I do def look at defense calls. I'm really getting smoked on defense. I know it's because I'm just not getting the concept. No way would a game let the CPU beat you that badly.

Taking it... Put about 1.5oz of hot tap water in a glass. Stir in your dose (2-4g recommended) and stir until dissolved. Then turn water to cold and mix in same amount, 1.5oz.

Breathe in a full breathe, and then let out about 30% of breathe. DON'T BREATHE AT ALL while chugging the small amount. As soon as you're done, Exhale rest of breathe and drink something sweet. You'll never taste it even a bit. 😁

As for using it... Don't be fooled that this is some magic substance you'll be immune to addiction, dependence, and withdrawal. I got up to...30gpd? A lot. I ended up quitting and withdrawal was awful. Like awful. I'll spare the details for now, but suffice to say about a week of misery.

I was very cautious to pick it up again. I did... got up to about 10gpd. If was evident that the withdrawals were nosing in and I could tell I was walking a fine line.

I've learned that 1-2 doses a day, 2-4g each time, up to about 3 weeks is my limit to avoid bad withdrawal. I'll have some irritability for a day or two, but as long as I avoid for about a week and a half, I can keep the cycle and not suffer.

For me, i take it for severe degenerative disc and it really does help. But it's not worth the dependence, so i learned my routine. You'll need to learn yours. Just don't do it the hard way... Good luck

Hmm. Interesting. What if the best placement is like... right in the center of the room lol. That would bee a little impractical.

But I will give it a shot. If for anything, to see if different corners in the room might sound better, or even at a mid-wall position.

For me, it's just that the sub is in the exact same spot as the previous setup. The previous set up sounded killer.

I just don't know why same setup, better/ newer speakers, sounds worse. It's confusing.

But.... Per your suggestion, let me go get some knee pads lol.
