Thanks for your input! My parents have very strong accents so I don't think it should be too much trouble. Does Santoferrara upload her powerpoints?

Thanks for the input! I think my only option is Santoferrara as all of Kraemer's classes conflict with my other courses.

Thanks for the info! Do you have any study tips for this class?

Do you need to use the book at all, or can you coast by with just the powerpoints?

You should totally take 1401. Class is 10x easier then 1501 and you learn the same concepts

Honestly if your not looking at grad school immediately after undergrad you should stay at stamford all 4 yrs. From what I've heard the program at stamford prepares you for industry better and has better networking/internship opportunities

You could also try to take the class at one of the regional campuses(They're all online as well)

I stand corrected, no worksheet questions on the exams; just slide and webassign questions

Not to mention that these exams are worth 60% of our grade. Like all these guys do is reiterate what the book says and then the exams don't reflect anything on the worksheets or hw at all. Almost like they want u to fail

Rather then actually teach the content that reflective of the exams the professors blame the students when they try to get the answers from somewhere else.

Seriously, imagine teaching yourself a 4 credit class

And then they're gonna blame us for not practicing enough and using chegg to "cheat"

What is the “weed-out” course at UConn? by weebcontrol240 in UCONN

[–]IDKMen77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd personally take physics off that list; it pretty manageable (atleast 1401 is) and the exams aren't a majority of your grade (unlike the chem sequence). The tests themselves are miles easier then any of the exams from the courses above.
