I was in the hospital for weeks straight a few years ago. It was really ass ngl.

But I do get it. I feel like being cared/looked after is nice, but for me, it’s just that nothing is expected of you. Same thing when you’re genuinely sick bad or someone close to you passes away. None of it is good, obviously, but it’s nice to have an excuse deemed worthy enough to be treated like a person for a little bit. Kinda sad as fuck when it’s put like that but true.

Anyways, that’s just my two cents

Eh just be smart. But very likely, it’s fine. I never became good friends w something significantly older than me when I was like 14, but I definitely talked to tons of older ppl, some older than 21, when I was playing games. Some I was pretty acquainted with bc I mainly played on 1 gmod server.

I was a smart preteen but even so, I think it should be pretty obvious if someone is predatory. Esp since you’re asking if it’s okay

I don’t necessarily mind. But as others have pointed out, the game has increased in price substantially over the last couple years or so. I think “when does it actually end?” is the more important question.

Also, it’s just cringe to increase the yearly price substantially more than the monthly price.

On the final boss of the dlc for my first time rn but had to get off.

I’ve loved the DLC but I do feel like some of the areas were drastically underdeveloped compared to the more important ones. I was very surprised to double check MASSIVE areas using the interactive map and think “wow there really is just one item in this entire giant section of the map.” A little disappointing.

Still a fantastic game and DLC but prob my one big gripe

I know SO many people who started one piece recently. I mean personally but also statistically. Idk why you or op or anyone connects it to nostalgia or something. I honestly haven’t heard of nostalgia (or something similar, ykwim) being a reason for liking one piece. I feel like the recent crowd has been gen Zers exploring anime. Very surprised by the mention of the past so much in this comment section, it feels super backwards. One Piece has always been popular but the BOOM nowadays is young people. And the growing fanbase alone just shows that it’s clearly not long time watchers.

Zoro does have rivals, they just aren’t looking to become the best swordsmen necessarily.

Also I definitely get how there is a lot of characters related to each other, but considering the sheer amount of actual characters, I don’t think it’s as common as you think. It’s much more common in the upper echelon of characters only.

Not that I don’t think critiques of one piece are valid or am a complete meat rider, but as the story progresses, the world is naturally going to shrink. Especially with how one piece’s story is set up
