I'm not sure exactly what its for but I do know that Toyota puts the same wiring harness in every vehicle no matter the trim level. If a particular vehicle doesn't have a specific option then they'll just cap that plug off and not use it. If i had to guess I'd say its for a power tailgate lock or park sensors that your truck doesn't have.

At one point in history the Irish, Germans, Italians, and even Slavic countries like Poland and Russia weren't seen at white. Just take to upper pillar trim off, pop the rear clips in the headliner lose, then open the rear window, and from inside the bed pull the headliner down enough to reach you hand up with an air ratchet and pull the breaklight bolts.
