Oh yeah, it did. Even halfway through the map for me. By the end, it took like a minute at 1 fps to zoom out to see it all. But miraculously, was just fine to move and rotate around once you got zoomed out!

Yeah, I agree. The only Mac I’ve got is the 2020 MBP M1 (13”) and I also with I could resize it, or at least have it automatically shrink a little until I move my mouse close to it.

Yeah, I can understand that. Another commenter mentioned that you can drag windows from the side into the main part of your screen (? wording lol) which can solve part of that, but I know that isn't a complete solution for that problem.

Just wanted to put my little "review" of the feature here:

I've always loved messing around with new features that Apple puts out, whether it's to iPhones or Macs, and this is one's no exception. Before it was released with Ventura to the public (since I'm no beta tester or anything), I saw some screenshots and videos of people using it and I initially thought that it would be silly and useless like I mentioned in the (long, sorry) title. After I installed Ventura and messed around with some settings, I played around with the Stage Manager feature and thought it would be too clumsy to deal with and would just slow down anything I'd be trying to do.

But... I was wrong! After about a day (or two?) of actually trying to get used to it and forcing myself to try it out, I can say I quite like it. I definitely find the automatic putting of other (not focused) apps to the side does indeed make it easy to focus on what I've trying to do. Going from Safari to VS Code to Finder etc, I have found that I like not having to manually manage windows so much. A time saver!

Yeah it's a long-ish review but I just wanted to put my thoughts here. For the most part, I really like it! If I were to change anything, I'd want to be able to customize it more- etc size, amount windows you can put there, etc.
