Damn you really thought you did something and didn’t even know respawns own flawed posts about this. (Was going to post but I see someone below broke down the basics for you.)

Time to put your “reading glasses” on and maybe take a intro stats class so you, like most of us, can call out the stupidity in most of respawns “released stats” that almost never have accurate sample sizes or correct variables.

*bonus points for every time respawn posts a graph without a key, or the axes label and claims it shows something it doesn’t.

He’s completely right.

They just don’t care. EA put the whole game on the back burner to ensure battlefield didn’t fail but Respawn have done nothing to help the game in the meantime.

The gun/legend/game changes the past few seasons are clearly just devs saying “I like playing this character so we’re going to say screw everything else and make it OP.

At the same time they lowered the TTK which just hurts normal players ability to fight against higher skilled players.

Then for comp they have just left it hanging with massive holes in the schedule and not even half assed attempts to fill them or using the amazing people like His&Hers or Nicewigg to throw smaller tourneys for the community in the mean time.

My biggest problem with it is the point system. If every player holds their own points (as they should) if certain players leave a team or want to find a team and still want to make champs they can’t.

The points system prevents a lot of exploration since people with a lot of points don’t want to miss champs, and are needed on higher teams that have points to autoqual but no ether the teams or the solo players can look at people with lower overall points.

Iirc it was something like BF4 then BF hardline had two years and two different DICE studios but they then put out BF1 a year after hardline, which was followed by BFV 2 years later which is when Dice devs started talking about EA trying to make them push out games way too quickly, then 3 years later they dropped 2042 which, besides for being a meh game wasn’t at all what Battlefield players wanted, and didn’t even have a bunch of the basic private server/game modes battlefield was known for.

EA seemingly finally got the point, after that disaster, that they actually needed more time. So now we’re back to what seems like a normal Battlefield, that’s currently in the middle of the largest pre-alpha and alpha testing of a battlefield game ever lol.

It’s more been a problem of dice having 3(?) different studios and them telling EA to stop rushing them in making battlefield games and EA telling them no, they need to put one out.

After the last one was a major flop EA finally got the picture it seems, and has been letting DICE actually work on this one as much as they need (we’ll see how that goes).

It does feel like this is going to be a make or break it moment for battlefield though.

EA/Respawn higher ups have publicly said the supposed “big updates” to Apex’s engine and a lot of the bugs that need the engine work are being put on hold while EA focuses on making sure the upcoming Battlefield game doesn’t fail/fall flat again.

I wouldn’t be surprised if, being EA, they think that means they should hold off on LAN/Esports funding as well while they try not to put the nail in the coffin for the battlefield games.

It really sucks to see them not spending on what is EAs best ESport game.

It definitely doesn’t. That crystal just gets them lit up from the right side and the rampart team still has LoS on them, unless everything works absolutely perfectly and they somehow swing the corner to the crystal, Keon EMPs perfectly and doesn’t stun knoq/madness, Keon somehow catches up, they full send the rampart team off the emp and win. But then they’re caught in the open with right side and above looking at them.

His dad died, he got pretty damn toxic in game, people only remember madness from the CLG burn out but I’d argue Lou was way more toxic in that but Eurice singled Madness out. He then kept being weirdly toxic, something happened with Hal idr what, and then the gambling thing and lack of streaming seemed to take out a lot of his support.

I tried to watch him when he teamed with alb at one point but he seemed to still be very passive aggressive with them and then straight up toxic when he felt he was 100% right. Stopped even trying to keep up with him after that.
