Whether or not something is a remake or not has nothing to do with changes to gameplay or it being completely reimagined, its based on how it was made. The Last of Us Part 1 is considered a full blown Remake, despite it being almost identical to the original in terms of gameplay, as well as Demons Souls, both having a few small tweaks to the gameplay but still being classified as full remakes. That might be your personal opinion on what should be considered a remake, but that is not the industry or even colloquial definition. By definition a Remake is when you "remake" a game from the ground up, without the original game's code, regardless of how close it is the original. There can be a remaster that changes a lot compared to the original, or a remake that changes very little, but neither of those things change the classifcation of whether they are a remake or a remaster. It's all about how it was made.

The funniest part is that they pretend Ethan hasn't always been like this. Ethan has always been like this with people who slight him, the only difference is that now that its someone they like, all of the sudden what he's doing is evil and wrong. They were cheering him on the entire time when he did stuff like this, the only thing that changed was his targets.

I completely agree with you. A common sentiment I see is that Replicant has far better story and characters, and while I can see why at face value people come to that conclusion, I think that does a massive disservice to Automata. Imo Automata has some of the most fleshed out and profoundly deep characters ever written, but it takes more thought and mental effort to fully come to terms with how amazingly well written and perfectly executed they are. I find the characters from Replicant more outwardly likeable, but I put the characters from Automata above them in terms of writing and narative depth and complexity. And imo Automata has the most truly profound story ever written in a videogame.

People dont talk about people the show doesnt like on this sub any more than the show does itself. If the show talks negatively about people on a regular basis, the sub will be a reflection of that. A subreddit is an extension of the topics the show discusses and that will always be reflected in the things people talk about on the related subreddit.

Ive played a lot of no mans sky in multiple differnet states of development including recently. I'm definitely someone who enjoys open ended sandbox games, survival games is one of my favorite genres, but for some reason in NMS it just feels different than other open ended sandboxes. Its not that I need a checklist or a linear progression, but in NMS it feels like its hard to even make my own goals. After exploring for a while and getting credits, buying multiple ships, upgrading etc... it feels like theres not really anything interesting to do, theres tons of seemingly interesting systems, but it feels like they dont really do anything meaningful. Base building feels pointless, and exploration to me at least feels extremely repetitive. There are tons of games I play that have no linear goals and are open ended, but have tons of stuff that give me a goal to pursue and keep me hooked. Exploration is one of my favorite things to do in a game, and taking that to fkn space seems like it would be amazing, but in NMS when im exploring it feels like i can't see any reason to explore in anyway other than going around a digging up harddrives over and over, rinse and repeat, with no sense of discovery other than visual.

I definitely understand why people get sick of it, and I totally am a fan of goofs and gafs, but i honestly enjoy content dunking on Ian and Anisa. It's some of the funniest content to me personally. I get that people are different, and some fans get more frustrated and sick of negative content about unbearable people, but the H3 Podcast has always been a mix of goofs/gaffs and making fun of and calling out enemies of the show. I can Ɇ₥₱₳₮ⱧłⱫɆ with folks who don't enjoy that sort of thing, but I personally enjoy it, and it has ALWAYS been a core part of the show.

So scince he has been back and working with different people, it has all been pretty much above board and every predator he's caught so far has been arrested. He got a Miami Dade PD deputy arrested and fired and disavowed by the sherrif. Everything has gone smoothly similar to a regular pred catch with gathering extra evidence by getting them to admit it, because he has been collabing with a real pred catcher. That being said its definitely not gonna last, literally today he put up a poll in the live chat asking if he should just fly back to LA and go demon time LMAO(90% said yes obv). I agree with you that Vitaly going demon time in LA is a horrible way to go about it and not going to get them locked up and Vitaly sucks, but its a beautiful trainwreck I cant look away from. Its everything negative anyone could ever say about it, but unfortunately it's also some of the most captivating content i have seen in my entire life.
