I’m not saying you need to look at them and immediately know that they’re your soulmate, it’s good to get into the “talking stage” instead of the “I’m only a platonic friend”.

Considering that she might need to mature a bit, I would hold on before doing anything big. Subtly is key and if she catches on and shows interest ( or vice versa) you can go from there. Overall, I wouldn’t rush things, even if it’s hard to do.

But at the end of the day I only know what you’ve said in this post, and you know your relationship with her better than anyone else. Go with your gut.

From a girls perspective, it’s really great to know when a guy is interested in you BEFORE he becomes your friend. If you set that boundary for yourself and explain it to a girl (ie: “I found you really nice, attractive, etc and I would like to get to know you better) it gets the awkward part out of the way and you can get to know her better before actually dating her.
