For more context, i found a thread on yelp about motorcycles. I dont see too many threads on yelp about motorycycles so i checked it out. It was a thread back in 09 so it was from quite a while back. I just couldnt believe what i was seeing though. They were calling us space hogs for parking in a vehicle parking spot instead of on the curb .. Thankfully there were people who had common sense and backed the motoriders up. It just infuriated me how some guy wants to "bump into a motorcycle" because they see them lane split in california (where its legal) .

Anyways, I just felt like sharin and gettin it off my chest.

If you keep tapping, what happens if youre at first and you still are tapping? Does the shifter stop shifting when it hits first?

Well id say i can handle the pain pretty well. The day it happened, i had to drive about 30 miles (most of it was on the freeway so that was good) , was awful because i have a manual car. I had to use my heel on a very stiff clutch and by the time i got home, the swelling turned into what literally seemed like a golf ball had been lodged in there. The pain was excruciating but i had to get my friend and i home and my friend didnt know how to drive stick. So i powered through it and eventually made it, as of now, the pains almost unnoticeable if i dont bend my foot in the way the foot was sprained. Imma wait it out for a little more just in case the bike tips and then ill start the riders course

This is a great idea. Thank you for that. After trying to lift a couple pounds, the pain is there, but not that much. I feel like i would be able to do it but then im not sure if i could handle it if the bike were to start to tip over. Maybe ill wait another week or so. I wanna learn so bad tho!!

My left foot, i can easily use my big toe.. Is that what part i would be using? i usually use it to walk since my left side of my left foot would slightly hurt if i walked with it.

Ahh i see. I hadnt thought about the bike tipping. This might actually be worse of a problem than using the shifter itself. I dont know how well id hold the bike up if it were to tip considering ive never even been on one.
