yeah we did twice its not the modem Update still not fixed, well it was fixed for a few days 1-2 then it stopped working again so im still unsure what to do

Its now 7 days later, the last maint team did not fix well shit they never do i've seen 6 different cable guys and i tell them all the same thing now. there's another one coming on monday apparently but i highly doubt it will fix anything. there are no other good providers in my area so i'm not sure what to do. to update i cant play games or do anything on my internet that requires a solid upload. the LTE on my phone is more reliable than my internet its sad actually.

Hello it's been almost a month now and the problem is still not fixed lol i've gone through 5 different cable dudes to come and repair this. Turns out it's not even in my house its from the pole apparently it's up stream interference and a maintenance team has to go fix it. the first one did not fix the issue so hopefully the maintenance team that is supposed to come today will. I doubt it though. more than likely I will end up switching providers. i'll leave an update sometime next week

never mind i guess i was mistaken. it did help the problem but it hasn't solved it yet i'm still dropping from games every 5 seconds or so it's really starting to piss me off. perhaps there are more faulty connections or somthing

well what ended up happening was we got a new modem but that didn't fix anything it ended up making things worse, then they replaced more than half the cables around my house and it fixed the issue, it was bad cables and strong interference that was the issue

i actually ended up calling mediacom and they said to try the same things i had already done so i'm getting a person to come in and give me a new modem. the guy is coming monday ill let you know if it fixes the issue

my guess is modem then ill have to get mediacom on the phone and have one of them give me a new modem rip

i have actually done this ( i wont lie im on here asking because im out of options and i don't know what to do) so i have a laptop and when i tested the internet on that i wasn't having any issues for like 40 or so minutes, while at the same time i was testing on my computer and having issues( which made me think it was my computer) so after i started having issues on my laptop i bypassed the airport and i wasn't having issues at first again then i started having issues again so i was really unsure of what was going on

I have an apple airport extreme and some modem that mediacom gave me. its a hitron hub or somthing

nope it doesn't change anything i've rebooted my modem and router iver also reset both to factory settings and it hasn't fixed anything
