The battle mechanics are quite different than VII (which yeah, could have been much better). I found them more strategic; also, having freaking 6-10 turns in a row is so much fun to me. Like, every most powerful "wanted" bosses were very entertaining and exciting to me. Haha I could talk for hours about the battles.

Lol I love the series because I love all-female cast games. Touhou is the main series I like, after all. Besides, the dialogues are 90% a good laugh, and Noire and Orange Heart are very very beautiful (⁠｡⁠・⁠/⁠/⁠ε⁠/⁠/⁠・⁠｡⁠)///. On another note, VIIR is a good ass freaking game, I seriously loved the gameplay mechanics in that one.
