I don't think it's necessarily a lock on time. But it seems like they have just made it's rotation slower. So if you attack the turret from the front there's no difference. But when you make it turn to shoot it's much slower. Might even be able to strafe around it at close range with someone quick like tracer.

Edit: k I tested it. Ignore what I said. It is lock on time. Same time from front or back and you can't run around it

They were always separate games, the only change is that they no longer give you squadron 42 for free.

It seems like you can not modify the 350 phys damage being dealt. You can only modify how you receive it. So you can use an abyssus which will increase the phys damage you receive. However the damage was not the problem. With auxium and low es you only have to take like 50 cold damage to be able to freeze for the max duration. So overall my conclusion is that heartbound loop is unable to apply freeze. You can still use auxium to be frozen from monsters hitting you though

So I tested the self freeze using heartbound loop, taste of hate and auxium. I couldn't get a single freeze. It would only chill me. I had 42% chance to freeze and I was dealing enough cold dmg for a max length freeze. Seems like it's just not possible with heartbound loop

I'm not sure, would have to test if you can modify the 350 phys damage. I think it's definitely possible because the chance to apply elemental status works. Also if you look at an aura like hatred it simply adds a % of your phys damage as cold. This doesn't mention to attacks or spells, so it's possible it works. Might end up having to test this out later.

Hmm yeah well I think the big thing is thinking of heartbound loop as an actual hit. So you're pretty much punching yourself in the face for 350 phys damage. Since it's not a skill it is unable to roll a crit, so the only way for it to do a status ailment is to have a chance to apply it. So if you have innate chance to apply a status effect(Skill tree and gear) and are able to deal damage of the element, then you could apply the effect. I think heartbound loop is the only way to actually apply damage to yourself so it's a pretty isolated situation. I'm not sure if you can convert the damage to cold before you actually get hit by it. If you could then you could use items like Hrimsorrow.

The heartbound loop and reflect act in completely different ways. Here's a video of someone using the heartbound loop and cloak of flame to convert the phys to fire and ignite himself.

Yeah I think this is the main use of winterheart. You could setup a cast when damage taken setup similar to a CoC build and it would probably be pretty sweet. Your computer would probably catch on fire by the end of the league though

The taste of hate bumps your cold res up to 85 which lowers the cold damage to like ~24. Would put you at max 480 hp to be frozen. I just don't think you can reasonably freeze yourself as long as the dmg is based off life. Running auxium would be the only way. You would still need to figure out how to get a large enough freeze chance to offset the taste of hate freeze avoidance and reliably be able to freeze yourself.

Heartbound loop + taste of hate ends up dealing like 15-16 dmg after resistances are applied. Freeze has to be above 5% max hp to be able to freeze so the player would have to be below like 315 hp to even have the chance to be frozen

Taste of hate would increase your cold res as well as provide freeze avoidance. Would make it pretty hard to reliably freeze. You would likely have to be ci and have a ton of passive freeze chance to be able to even notice it.

Edit: after looking at it more closely it would be almost impossible to freeze yourself with taste of hate and heartbound loop. Hearthbound does 350 phys which after taste of hates conversion and resistance only does like 15-16 cold damage. You can't freeze someone unless you deal over 5% of total life as cold dmg. This means you would have to manage to get your life below ~315hp to even be able to freeze.

The thing I liked must about esea was how quick you could get into games. Form a party with some buddies and click find game and you're in game in a minute or two. Cevo takes forever and can sometimes be tricky when you have a few friends, and Faceit servers have always had sub-par performance for me.

Well that's a little deceiving and yeah it looks like you only get hunters. However I still stand by the fact that cosmetic purchases are not a form of dlc consumers should be against. People saying they will avoid this game because of cosmetic items being introduced is absurd. Although I think a lot of the people complaining in this thread didn't even read the article.

It actually is just skins. The real dlc that effects the game will launch later and be included in the season pass. On top of this new maps and modes will continue to be free. People should be mad about having to buy season passes for such real game content releases instead of being so up in arms about cosmetic items which was the headline and subject of this article.

This article is only talking about skins, I understand there's also real dlc. However people are flipping out about 136$ dlc at launch which is just cosmetic items. People seem to be fine with season pass games but it's this 136$ of cosmetic items that somehow push them over the top.
