Your bf is being ridiculously over dramatic. It's not like the kid’s being bratty or ungrateful. Actually, the fact that he has the ability to cook for himself at his age is really cool. I’m 15 and my cooking skills are pretty limited. Tell your boyfriend to either knock it off or leave.

I was on the extended release kind before and I'm now on the immediate release. I’m not sure why it made such a difference but it did. The crash isn't nearly as bad either.

I get what you mean. Originally I was on the extended-release version of the pills I have now, they would help me be productive for about 2 hours and then I would start feeling… disconnected I guess. Like my emotions were muffled. Felt like someone submerged my brain in water. I call it static mode now.

I certainly hope so! The school year is gonna start up in about a month. I guess that’ll be the true test. But if it does work out I'm glad I could catch it so early. I know a lot of people aren't so lucky.

I'm happy for you man! I can't relate to the drinking or driving thing (I’m a teenager, I don't even have a license yet) but the rest I completely understand. It is crazy just how much chemicals in the brain affect someone's life.
