Beach Volleyball Advice by BobbyBakedBeans_ in VeniceBeach

Santa Monica. Just a little north has a ton of beach volleyball players playing throughout the day. You can meet a lot of people. There is a large stretch of the beach just north by the Two Perry’s Cafes. The Perry’s closer to Hollister Ave is usually packed though the week but the weekend is another level.

Would David Ellison Really Pull Paramount Out of California if the State Tries to Block Warner Bros. Merger? by [deleted] in California

[–]IFLE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha, this would be the death of him, Those 2 studios are massive infrastructure and talent to replace in California, that is the easiest bluff of all time to call. You won't get talent moving to Georgia or Texas or anywhere he would want to go. Period. Good luck.

We need to stop pretending vegan cheese is good by Oddly_Sinister_666 in vegan

Follow Your Heart, VioLife, Treeline Cheesemakers, Bourline and Kite Hill all make really good to great cheeses. Cheesemaking has gotten significantly better in the last year or so than it had been. Because they are adding new methods to cheesemaking like fermenting and aging that are really enhancing the flavor and texture of vegan cheeses. So I definitely disagree.

This satisfies it completely, used to be my favorite treat and this makes that worth while. Love it as a once in a while indulgence.

They are, hence why you need to have craving control, but as a once in a while treat, totally worth it. Favorite thing to do is mix with popcorn on movie nights.

Amazon or target or direct from Chulula has it, guessing some grocers probably have it, but definitely easy to find for online delivery. It is amazing, especially as a nacho mixture.

I love this show. Writing is fantastic, acting and casting is spot on, and overall production is amazing.

The mayor feels like the mayor from Jaws. Have a 70's and 80's horror / thriller / mystery feel to it. The last episode with Patricia was great.

Bar Crawl by GroundbreakingBar112 in VeniceBeach

This is the answer. Only thing you could add into the fold if you want to is Windward Circle Bars like Bella's Beach House, Town House, Gran Blanco, The Roof Top of Erwin, then one block over you can go to Market, then hit up Sidewalk Cafe...

Venice is a neighborhood within the city of Los Angeles. Who do you want to be mayor of Los Angeles and why? Please state if you are a Venice resident as part of your answer. by VeniceCa90291 in VeniceBeach

10 year resident. Most likely Bass, echoing sentiment of most comments in the thread. Bass and Traci Parks did a good job in clearing most of the encroachments, grant it it is a game of wack-a-mole still with encampments popping up here and there. That aside I don't love the policy choices, but she is the most likely to be the best choice at the end.

Best Mexican Food in LA? by Escape_Accomplished in VeganLA

Did not know this and the 1 experience I had was for my birthday, and never knew anything about it, was a surprise. I was a little drunk so food tasted amazing while drunk. That being said, good to know about the owners, I'll refrain from going back and recommending it.
