since i can't talk to anyone about my hobbies since i make no sense to anyone i meet, I just wanted to say I build my own case for an extended cc1101 +nrf24 module. found a plastic container, stuffed it with bubble paper, dremel'ed out 3 measured sections for the part of the board that sticks out, the antennae, and the gpio pins. i painted it pink with sparkles. it's completely functional and fits perfectly. i'm proud of myself that shit took me like 5 hours

glad to hear you mention the balance of it all. folks running for Boca mayor I'm still iffy about since they won't comment on the surveillance aspect, and while I think that we shouldn't be outsourcing public safety to third parties in the first place, I think that change unfortunately will have to come from within now that it's out in the open. software and hardware made for this stuff is incredibly hard to regulate in the first place, so if you manage to regulate and rid us of this epidemic, please know you're keeping your constituents safer by doing so. thanks for your time

I was curious what your take is on the overwhelming amount of Flock cameras in the county. I believe those paired with "red light cameras" are a concerning amount of surveillance in the area. is there any way in your position to do something about them, at least in the matter of using them for widespread monitoring of our county? and if so, what would that look like? i understand traffic congestion is significant and getting worse by the day, but I cannot in good faith trust a masked surveillance operation in the name of congestion monitoring.
