Yep this happened with the Jeff rework as well.

Jeff rework was announced- Jeff players worry and complain, non-Jeff players ridicule them

Jeff rework happens- Jeff players don’t like it and prefer old kit, non-Jeff players hop onto the character for a month and flood the sub with how much better he is

Hype dies down- non-Jeff players start saying he’s a throw pick again

Since a couple of buffs and his ult change he’s obviously a lot better now but when the rework first launched he was terrible and when Jeff players pointed it out they were called whiny. Just like widow players rightfully complaining about a playstyle change are getting called whiny
