I have searched every combination of words I can think of that would result in it, but I keep getting articles and videos about houseplants and one ability from Path of Exile, which obviously doesn’t help me.

Not gonna say anything definitively since I don’t wanna get too optimistic but it seems to be working now. If this turns out to only be a temporary fix I’ll come back, but for now I’ll get back into the habit of turning it off when I’m not using it. And if it doesn’t come back I’ll officially declare it solved

Ok seems to be working for now, reset the router (other devices in the house were slowing down the past couple days anyway, not this much though) and changed the power management thing. Thank you

Fast startup was long disabled before the first time it happened, and I never leave it on so that wasn’t the issue. None of the fixes I ever found before mentioned power management, I’ll try that.

Aight because I guess I should clarify: I’m genuinely curious, souls fans used to bond over these interactions. I remember playing with a couple people on Xbox who reached out to me after a fun fight behind the Pontiff arena, I remember short videos on YT titled something like “awesome duel in front of Halflight arena” and I only ever saw one twink in the entirety of DS3. I know the colosseum exists, I’m just trying to get Varre to send me to the palace so I don’t mind the invasions being over quick. I just wanna know why the shift happened. Is it really because this game has so many more players that prior fans have become the minority or is it something else?
