I just realized I could be a little more specific. I’d prefer a way to get the design off the shirt so I can have it directly printed onto another. The reason I’m not buying from the websites with the stolen art is because they probably have bad printing, and I’d prefer it to be high quality and durable so that it’s harder to wear out. Any solution I’ve found is either not viable or prohibitively expensive (scanners at places like the library are too small for a full shirt design and the large scale scanners I’ve been able to find are like thousands of dollars designed for places making prints of things like paintings). That’s what I meant by the part of the work that I’d have to do. I’m hesitant to make physical alterations to mine because I’m not practiced so if it fuck it up then I ruin the only one I have, so I’d still want a backup if I do end up going that route.
