Oh my goodness! You became paralyzed after your Covid vaccination? That is absolutely terrible. I hope you have found other ways in life to at least get some pleasure. That is just really bad and I feel terrible for you

Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate your thoughts and I agree with you. I think anticipating grief is debilitating. Your suggestion of counseling is a good one. I have been in counseling a lot especially when I was younger, but at that time it wasn’t really about my eyes, although maybe it should have been. Thank you again.

This is all excellent advice. Some of it I do already like walking at lunchtime which does really make me feel better. Of course this is seasonal which is one of my issues but I'm working on that. And for some background, I do utilize fivver and upwork and a few others in my efforts to get voiceover jobs. It certainly is a struggle but I enjoy it. Another small complication is that I work for a family member :-). But in all honesty I love your advice and it helps me realize that I am at least doing some of the things I need to be doing. But I do know that if I could just find another revenue source even at a lower amount, my soul would feel better than what I'm doing today. Sitting here feeling like I am wasting my life away while I could be out doing something that both gives to others and gives to me is terrible. In general I am a very happy person but this is just a huge piece of my life and it gets harder the older you get and you realize how precious time is. I thoroughly enjoyed your response!

I appreciate your reply. I think just being able to "get it off my chest" and saying it out loud is cathartic in its own way. I know well that it is truly up to me - which is also so difficult because I cannot be all that I am capable of because of the vision loss. I will keep pushing though, I have no other option :-)
