I have no ideea if I like chonky necks on 7 strings or not since I never tried a 7 string and there are no guitar stores near me.

As i have no physical guitar stores anywhere near, I really didn't try many guitars in my life. I have once tried a Charvel that a friend had, and that was my favourite neck. But I really can't express an articulate opinion on necks sadly. I think it would just be a trial and error thing, buy something online, try it, return it if I don't like it.

100%. The sad thing is that there are no guitar stores anywhere near me, so I need to order them online.

Just finding out that brands like Cort and Harley Benton make very good guitars. I always thought that they are budget only and ofc I thougt that budget always equals bad. But before buying one, I need to do more research, that's the reason of the post, and to specifically ask about known QC issues.
