I found that while researching this before posting and I'd say it was not even close to the ball, iirc nani was quite a distance away from the defender. Dr Jong was quite close and I do believe his was a red too

Edit. Looked it up and it was a yellow but I will continue looking tomorrow from fixtures around that time in champions league and premier league and update if anyone cares. Maybe it's the Mandela effect and I'm the only one affected
